Maalaamisen ilmeisin tarkoitus on luoda taideteos, maalaus. Tähän aineelliseen päämäärään kietoutuu myös toisenlainen pyrkimys: taiteilija tavoittelee erityistä affektiivista kokemusta, esteettistä resonanssia, suhteessa maalaukseensa. Resonanssin saavuttaminen edellyttää puolestaan aktiivista vuoropuhelua teoksen kanssa. Analysoin tässä artikkelissa maalaamisprosessin dialogisuutta ja sen mahdollistamaa resonanssia psykoanalyyttisen luovuusteoretisoinnin ja filosofisen affektitutkimuksen ristivalossa. Tutkimuksessa tarkastellaan moniäänisen ja fiktiivisen omaelämäkerran kirjoittamista. Tavoitteena on selvittää, auttavatko itsen pohjalta luodut hahmot ja heidän kanssaan käyty dialogi kirjoittajaa ymmärtämään itseään ja käsittelemään kokemuksiaan. Prosessia ja valmista tekstiä tarkastellaan terapeuttisen kirjoittamisen näkökulmasta. Celia Huntin teoria fiktiivisestä omaelämäkerrallisesta kirjoittamisesta on tutkimuksen pohjana. Omaelämäkerran teoriaa tarkastellaan erityisesti Philippe Lejeunen näkökulmasta, ja moniäänisyydessä nojaudutaan Mihail Bahtiniin. Crucial aspects of Wolterstorff’s theory are his understanding of justice as inherent rights and justice as inherent worth.
