There are numerous varieties of English spoken in Italy today, each repre-sented by one or more of the various migrant communities living in the country. These manifestations of World englishes reflect a wide range of lexical, syntactical, phonetic, pragmatic, interpersonal and cultural features. This paper argues that an interpreter or language mediator trained in standard English may not necessarily be able to comprehend or make him/herself understood adequately in other varieties of English. Abstract The study focuses on teachers’ and children’s shared moments of joy in early childhood education settings and contributes new knowledge in educational research by exploring joy as a relational rather than an individual phenomenon. The theoretical and methodological framework draws on a narrative approach and Martin Buber’s dialogical philosophy. Data were gathered through video observations and diary notes in open ECE groups in Finland, with children from 2 to 6 years. Empathy is a pedagogic and educative category and justifies the notion of vicarious intentionality defining either the empathy structure or the proper dynamic of the educative process. According to the language of classical philosophy and pedagogy, this essay deals with it as an ethic and dianoetic virtue. The core of the whole becomes the phenomenology of empathy, the analysis of the constitutive intentionalities of such a singular personal virtue: the free disposal, the ethic attitude and the spiritual request.

Turn-taking is a preverbal skill whose mastering constitutes an important precondition for many social interactions and joint actions. However, the cognitive mechanisms supporting turn-taking abilities are still poorly understood. Here, we propose a computational analysis of turn-taking in terms of two general mechanisms supporting joint actions: action prediction (e.g., recognizing the interlocutor's message and predicting the end of turn) and signaling (e.g., modifying one's own speech to make it more predictable and discriminable). The paper deals with the importance of words and dialogue in family education. In the first part, some evidence of an action research is presented – shaped in a hermeneutic phenomenological framework and thanks to the Philosophy for Children method and materials. Then some key words are pointed out, meant as formative goals for parents’ educational support, so as to highlight the importance of dialogue among generations and, mainly, of the ethical responsibility of parents in education.

François Rebsamen a été ministre du Travail en 2014-2015. Son livre, En toutes confidences, revient sur cette expérience ministérielle et plus largement sur son itinéraire politique. Son propos parfois incisif fait tout son intérêt. En outre, rares sont les ministres du Travail qui ont témoigné de leur rôle et l’ont fait sans trop de langue de bois. Le livre constitue donc une plongée dans l’univers des négociations avec les partenaires sociaux au plus haut niveau, de la fabrique ou du bricolage de réformes, puisque l’ancien ministre a laissé son nom à une loi relative au dialogue social et à l'emploi.
