Study Design: A total of 180 extracted human premolar teeth and 180 premolar stainless steel brackets were used. One hundred teeth and 100 brackets were divided into five groups of 20-teeth each. Adverse life events during the neonatal period result in long-term effects on physiology and behavior. Early postnatal experiences, such as a modification of the mother–infant interaction, may influence the development of neural systems that underlie the expression of neuroendocrine and behavioural responses to environmental challenges. The present study was carried out to investigate the consequences of a brief, maternal separation on declarative and spatial memory, focusing on sex related alteration due to the discrete effects that hormones may play on the brain circuits. Associative and reflective connections between the limit of the difference quotient and limiting process

Abstract This paper reports a study of how students may connect the limiting process inherent in the derivative to the limit of the difference quotient (LDQ) when solving problems. The data was collected mainly through task-based interviews with five eleventh grade students. It was found that the students used various kinds of limiting processes and connected them in different ways to LDQ. Some of them changed between these two representations, and some students explained one with the other. In this paper we consider averaging and finite difference methods for solving the 3-D boundary-value problem in multilayered domain. We consider the metals Fe and Ca concentration in the layered peat blocks. Using experimental data the mathematical model for calculation of concentration of metals in different points in peat layers is developed. One- and multi-locus multi-allele selection models in a random environment

We deduce conditions for stochastic local stability of general perturbed linear stochastic difference equations widely applicable in population genetics. The findings are adapted to evaluate the stability properties of equilibria in classical one- and multi-locus multi-allele selection models influenced by random temporal variation in selection intensities. As an example of some conclusions and biological interpretations we analyse a special one-locus multi-allele model in more detail.
