Audiovisual constructs of Paralympic Games : scalarity and camera angle

This research will analyze the variables differentiating between the audiovisual television of the XIII edition of the Paralympic Games and the Games of the XXIX Olympiad, held in Beijing from the 7th of September to the 17th, 2008. This study will serve as a methodological basis for similar future research. By means of a qualitative and quantitative methodology, this study also focuses on determining if TV representations of Paralympic sportspersons favour their social integration or if, on the contrary, lead to higher stigmatization.
A bioluminescence technique for quantitative and structure-associated imaging of pyruvate

A novel bioluminescence assay has been developed for measuring pyruvate within sections of snap-frozen tissue in a quantitative manner as well as with a spatial resolution on a microscopical level. The assay was verified via HPLC and two independent photometric tests. The novel assay makes it possible to determine pyruvate concentrations in cryosections in the range of 0-5.0 micromol/g tissue (dry weight). Based on the analysis of samples of given pyruvate concentrations, the assay exhibits a recovery with a deviationor =15%. The aim of the study is to evaluate the efficacy of Diallil-Tiosulphinate, Nuciepherine and Diosgenin in the treatment of erectile dysfunction. In our study were selected 120 men affected by erectile dysfunction. They were filled in a self-administered questionnaire International Index of Sexual Medicine. 74 of them reported a moderate erectile dysfunction and 46 reported a severe ED. All patients were treated with Tadalafil 5 mg once a day for 90 days. They were re-evaluated with the same questionnaire after three months of therapy.
