Co-sensing and co-shaping as shared and relational practices in bringing about relational leaders in higher education

AbstractThe aim of this article is to investigate how and what kinds of relational and shared practices were co-created within a multicultural team in a higher education collaborative learning environment. The students interacted while working towards the shared goal of co-constructing knowledge. The study provides insight into how student teams can actively build collaboration in learning spaces through manifesting relational leadership. Virtual Exchange is a collective term for a set of collaborative online learning practices that cut across institutional, cultural, and international borders. Moving outside their learning environments, the participants engage in project work with foreign peers. Beneficial coinfection can promote within-host viral diversity

Abstract In many viral infections, a large number of different genetic variants can coexist within a host, leading to more virulent infections that are better able to evolve antiviral resistance and adapt to new hosts. But how is this diversity maintained? Why do faster-growing variants not outcompete slower-growing variants, and erode this diversity? Kooperatīva mācīšanās kā līdzeklis 7-12 gadu vecu bērnu kapoeiras kustību iegaumēšanai

Šajā maģistra darbā autore pētīja, vai kooperatīvā mācīšanās uzlabo kapoeira horeogrāfiju atcerēšanos. Autore organizēja 9 video novērošanas sesijas 7-12 gadus veciem kapoeira audzēkņiem Capokids Capoeira Latvia organizētajās nodarbībās. Trīs bērnu grupas strādāja katrā no trim mācību organizācijas formām: indivīduāli, grupu darbs, un darbs pāros. Kopumā pētījumā piedalījās 53 bērni. Autore analizēja bērnu sasniegumus un pētīja uzvedību. Papildus uzmanība tika pievērsta bērniem ar augstu sasniegumu līmeni un bērniem ar dažādām vajadzībām. VegItaly: The Italian collaborative project for a national vegetation database

Abstract Two years after its official start, the national vegetation database VegItaly, a collaborative project supported by the Italian scientific community and developed by a large group of scientists, is presented. This article offers a concise overview of the content of the database, currently consisting of 31,100 vegetation plot, including published and unpublished data. Lauhkeat lehtimetsät ovat yksi eniten ihmisen vaikutuksesta kärsineistä biomeista ja eteenkin vanhat, luonnontilaiset metsät ovat vähentyneet huolestuttavasti.
