IAS 31 allowed firms to choose between proportionate consolidation and the equity method to record joint ventures in the consolidated accounts of the venturer. Moreover, this election implied a decision about including information in the primary financial statements or in the notes. This paper investigates if financial analysts perceive accounting information differently depending on the method chosen conditioned to the disclosure of the required information in the notes. Innocampus Explora: Nuevas formas de comunicar ciencia

[EN] Innocampus Explora aims to show the students of the Burjassot-Paterna campus of the Universitat de València how the different scientific degrees are interrelated. To do this we propose activities in which students and teachers work together to cover the interdisciplinary nature of science, both in everyday and professional issues. Throughout this course the activities developed relate to new ways to communicate science. With the development of this project we contribute to a transversal quality education for all the participating students.

This paper analyses the socioeconomic factors that influence the disclosure of sustainability information on 99 local government websites in 2018 in countries that make up the Pacific Alliance (PA) in Latin America, associated with internal and external demands that public entities have for accountability in social and environmental issues. We use as methodology a content analysis of the sustainability information disclosed by local entities on their websites and a regression of Ordinary Least Squares (OLS). Des de llavors, la revista s’ha consolidat com una publicacio de divulgacio de la ciencia que concedeix especial rellevancia a la investigacio realitzada al Pais Basc, pero el principal objectiu de la qual es capacitar el lector en la cultura cientifica i, alhora, entretenir-lo.

La divulgació científica ha d’afrontar un nou escenari on l’escassetat d’informació ha estat substituïda per l’abundància d’informació, que a més comença a ser generalment gratuïta i produïda per aficionats i, en alguns casos, amb la mateixa o superior qualitat que la professional. Sembla imposar-se, en conseqüència, una col·laboració entre l’àmbit professional i l’aficionat, àmbits separats per una línia divisòria que ja s’ha desdibuixat.

ABSTRACT This paper explores the necessary and sufficient conditions of good Corporate Governance practices for high risk disclosure by firms in their Corporate Governance Annual Report. Additionally, we explore whether those recipes have changed during the financial crisis. With a sample of 271 Spanish listed companies, we applied fuzzy-set qualitative comparative analysis to a database of financial and non-financial data. We report that Board of Directors independence, size, level of activity and gender diversity, CEO duality, Audit Committee independence, being audited by the Big Four auditing firms and the presence of institutional investors are associated with high risk disclosure. En el siglo XIX, la prensa valenciana contribuyó de forma decisiva a la divulgación del patrimonio cultural a través de numerosos artículos descriptivos, relatos de viajes e incluso ensayos documentados. El presente artículo pretende demostrar la importancia de la prensa como medio de conocimiento de nuestros bienes culturales, no sólo a través de sus comentarios, sino también desde su parte gráfica, en algunas ocasiones el único testimonio visual de unas obras irremediablemente perdidas.
