Vers un environnement informatisé d'évaluation de la qualité ergonomique d'interfaces multimédia : Étude exploratoire

Our objective is to encourage the human-computer interface designers to be more interested in the uses made of their product by taking into account to a higher degree the human-factor in the testing phase which often is too focused on technical aspects. We want to facilitate the integration of the user as a source of evaluation during the testing phase. Our aim is to offer the designer a software environment of practical tests that allow them to have their own products evaluated by their users. We undertook an experiment to explore the feasibility of this project.

Analyser les traces d’activité pour évaluer les ressources électroniques

International audience; Afin d'améliorer la qualité de l'évaluation des ressources électroniques, nous proposons une approche intermédiaire entre l'analyse des logs et l'étude clinique de l'activité de recherche d'information documentaire. Nous montrons comment construire un système d'évaluation automatique des ressources côté utilisateur. Le modèle que nous proposons suppose un ensemble de concepts fondamentaux, et un processus pour l'implémentation que nous présentons. Un tel système a de nombreux avantages : il renforce l'apprentissage de l'usager, il est peu coûteux, et il donne beaucoup plus de précisions sur l'utilisation réelle des ressources et de ses fonctionnalités.

Beam-induced and cosmic-ray backgrounds observed in the ATLAS detector during the LHC 2012 proton-proton running period

This paper discusses various observations on beam-induced and cosmic-ray backgrounds in the ATLAS detector during the LHC 2012 proton-proton run. Building on published results based on 2011 data, the correlations between background and residual pressure of the beam vacuum are revisited. Ghost charge evolution over 2012 and its role for backgrounds are evaluated. New methods to monitor ghost charge with beam-gas rates are presented and observations of LHC abort gap population by ghost charge are discussed in detail. Questo articolo esplora alcune forme dell’identità femminile nell’Egitto post-rivoluzionario, quale si manifesta in due documenti pubblicati dopo la Rivoluzione del 2011 sui diritti delle donne musulmane. Sono il Documento di al–Azhar (2013) e la Dichiarazione di Alessandria (2014), concordi nel ribadire il valore delle donne e i diritti garantiti loro dalla shari‘a. L’uno e l’altra hanno visto il coinvolgimento delle femministe islamiche. Si descrivono anche le possibilità di collaborazione tra al-Azhar e le femministe islamiche, per fondare una conoscenza religiosa-femminista autoctona e sensibile al genere.
