La microbiología en los artículos de revistas y comunicaciones a congresos de medicina del siglo XIX español

Se estudian en este trabajo la producción científica sobre microbiología médica en la España del siglo XIX y el consumo de la información en este campo a través de un análisis bibliométrico básico de 426 artículos y comunicaciones a congresos. Destaca en este periodo la ausencia de revistas especializadas en microbiología. El mayor número de artículos sobre el tema se escribe en el último cuarto de siglo, lo que coincide con la consolidación de la teoría de los gérmenes como origen de las enfermedades infecciosas.//. Checking the identity of students and authorship of their online submissions is a major concern in Higher Education due to the increasing amount of plagiarism and cheating using the Internet. The literature on the effects of e-authentication systems for teaching staff is very limited because it is a novel procedure for them. A considerable gap is to understand teaching staff' views regarding the use of e-authentication instruments and how they impact trust in e-assessment. Electronic correspondence is a highly dynamic genre within the business world in which Register Variation (RV) is frequently used as a tool to improve communication but it often can lead to misunderstanding. In order to shed some light on this still unexplored area, the present study firstly offers a practical approach to classify and analyse RV within professional communication. After this, it reviews previous studies on email writing to apply their findings to this approach and, in the third part of the study, a corpus of recent business emails in English is analysed to examine how the key parameters of RV are currently used within this genre.
