This thesis focuses on exploring the value co-creation in the future electricity demand-side response (DSR) service for households. DSR service is implemented as a cloud service, where high-power home appliances are switched off, if there are consumption overload in the power grid and the flexibility is needed. The service is necessary, especially when the use of electric cars increases. As electricity consumption is expected to increase, it creates challenges for electricity network capacity. Increased production in the near future, as well as moving towards more carbon-neutral production mode, will increase the challenges for the adequacy of electricity. β-Catenin is a central effector of the Wnt pathway and one of the players in Ca(+)-dependent cell-cell adhesion. While many wnts are present and expressed in vertebrates, only one β-catenin exists in the majority of the organisms. One intriguing exception is zebrafish that carries two genes for β-catenin. The maternal recessive mutation ichabod presents very low levels of β-catenin2 that in turn affects dorsal axis formation, suggesting that β-catenin1 is incapable to compensate for β-catenin2 loss and raising the question of whether these two β-catenins may have differential roles during early axis specification. The aim of this study was to examine the hypothesis that the recording mode (ie, unipolar or bipolar) affects the information obtained using spectral analysis techniques during ventricular fibrillation by carrying out an experiment using epicardial electrodes. Methods. Recordings of ventricular fibrillation were obtained in 29 isolated rabbit hearts using a multipleelectrode probe located on the left ventricular free wall. This article describes the main results of an ethnographic study on citizen participation carried out in the context of the development of the Urban Initiative (2007-2015): Cuenca-Barrio de San Antón. Managed by the City Council of Cuenca and financed by the European Regional Development Funds (FEDER) under the Ministry of Economy and Finance at the Government of Spain The results of the research show how in the context of the application of neoliberal policies, citizen participation becomes the trigger for new conflicts between institutions and citizens.
