Darbā tiek salīdzinātas divas pieejas standartizēta produkta ieviešanai un uzturēšanai: ● Produkta versijas pielāgošana visiem klientiem, ● Individuāli katram klientam izveidota un uzturēta versija. Autors detalizēti aplūko katru pieeju un izvērtē tās ieguvumus un trūkumus. Aplūkotās pieejas tiks skatītas reālas sistēmas Pensiju fonda sistēma (PFS) kontekstā. Pašreiz PFS lieto divi pensiju fondi Latvijā. Bakalaura darba izstrādes laikā autors ir projekta dalībnieks PFS ieviešanai trešajam pensiju fondam Latvijā.

Bone metastases are a class of cancerous metastases that result from the invasion of a tumor into bone. The solid mass which forms inside the bone is often associated with a constant dull ache and severe spikes in pain, which greatly reduce the quality of life of the patient. Numerous (99m)Tc-labeled bisphosphonate functionalised complexes are well established tracers for bone metastases imaging. The objective of this research was to evaluate the pharmacokinetics and behaviour of three DOTA based bisphosphonate functionalised ligands (BPAMD, BPAPD and BPPED), using both (68)Ga μ-PET in vivo imaging and ex vivo biodistribution studies in healthy Wistar rats. An unusual case of chronic diarrhea: a case report

Gastroenteropancreatic-neuroendocrine neoplasms or tumors (GEP-NEN or NETs) are rare tumors arising from the diffuse neuroendocrine system. This clinical case highlights the complexity of the diagnostic process and the difficulties in interpreting the examinations for this type of tumor, showing how the negativity of firstlevel examinations did not prevent from performing further investigations, in the presence of a suggestive clinical presentation. The search of similar cases in the published literature suggests that this represents an unusual presentation of a NET.
Heuristiikkojen käyttö hyvien toteutuksien löytämiseksi peleistä

Tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli soveltaa peliarviointimenetelmiä hyvin to- teutettujen elementtien löytämiseksi peleistä. Menetelmäksi valittiin heuristinen ar- viointi. Esimerkkipeliksi valittiin Dota 2. Esimerkkipelin arviointiin ei löytynyt so- pivaa heuristiikkakokoelmaa. Tämän takia muodostettiin uusi kokoelma poimien heuristiikkoja kolmesta eri peliheuristiikkakokoelmasta. Tuloksina löydettiin useita hyviä toteutuksia Dota 2:sta. Videopeleissä oleva äänimaailma on tärkeä osa pelikokemusta. Äänet voivat voimistaa pelaajan kokemaa syventymistä peliin ja myös antaa pelaajalle tärkeää pelitietoa. Tässä tutkimuksessa luokitellaan kirjallisuuskatsauksella peleissä esiintyvät äänet luokkiin. Esimerkkipelinä olevaa Dota 2:ta käytetään luokkien havainnollistamiseen. Tuloksina saadaan luokittelut peliäänille sekä näiden luokkien tehokkaan käyttöön liittyvää tietoa tiedon välittämisessä. Dota 2:n äänten käyttöä havainnollistetaan myös Roquen ja Alvesin mallilla. Even though the VIX index was intended to be a measure of future volatility of the stock market, researchers argue that in reality VIX measures the investor sentiment. Anecdotal evidence suggests that peaks in VIX coincide with stock market bottoms followed by rallies, yet so far there have been no scientific evidence confirming this casual observation. In this paper we perform an event study of abnormal stock market returns around peaks in VIX and discuss our findings within the framework of behavioral finance theory.
