Let $H$ be a $\times$-bialgebra in the sense of Takeuchi. We show that if $H$ is $\times$-Hopf, and if $H$ fulfills the finiteness condition necessary to define its skew dual $H^\vee$, then the coopposite of the latter is $\times$-Hopf as well. If in addition the coopposite $\times$-bialgebra of $H$ is $\times$-Hopf, then the coopposite of the Drinfeld double of $H$ is $\times$-Hopf, as is the Drinfeld double itself, under an additional finiteness condition.

Despite recent close attention to issues related to the reliability of psychological research (e.g., the replication crisis), issues of the validity of this research have not been considered to the same extent. This paper highlights an issue that calls into question the validity of the common research practice of studying samples of individuals, and using sample-based statistics to infer generalizations that are applied not only to the parent population, but to individuals. Quantitative Runge Approximation and Inverse Problems

In this short note we provide a quantitative version of the classical Runge approximation property for second order elliptic operators. This relies on quantitative unique continuation results and duality arguments. We show that these estimates are essentially optimal. As a model application we provide a new proof of the result from \cite{F07}, \cite{AK12} on stability for the Calder\'on problem with local data.

This paper deals with the calculation of shadow prices for two industrial wastes generated on their production processes by a sample of eighteen firms belonging to the Spanish ceramic pavements industry. These prices are used to construct a corrected index of productivity which allows for considering wastes going with the production of marketable goods. It is followed the ethodologicalapproach first proposed by Färe, Grosskopf, Lovell y Yaisawarng (1993), which establishes a duality between distance and revenue functions.
