Resumen En el presente estudio, se examinó el concepto de innovación en el sector minorista y se definieron sus relaciones con otras variables, como la satisfacción y la lealtad, tradicionalmente vinculadas con el establecimiento minorista. Para lograr los objetivos planteados, se delimitó un modelo teórico sustentado en la literatura, que se contrastó mediante un estudio empírico utilizando un cuestionario estructurado ad hoc aplicado a una muestra de 510 clientes de establecimientos de alimentación. Propiedades Psicométricas de la Escala de Creencia en un Mundo Justo General y Personal en el Contexto Argentino

El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue analizar las propiedades psicométricas de las Escalas de Creencia en un Mundo Justo General y Personal. Para tal fin, se examinó la estructura interna de ambas, testeando si evalúan un mismo constructo global o constituyen dos dimensiones diferenciadas, la consistencia interna de cada una y sus relaciones con las orientaciones religiosas. Participaron del estudio 328 estudiantes universitarios de la Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires con edades entre 18 y 40 años (M = 24,1; DT = 3,88). Para ello, aborda imágenes y narrativas que circulan en los entramados simbólicos de la cultura del bienestar, que también se denomina como cultura activa. El cuerpo del liderazgo se ofrece al público mediante estrategias positivas y negativas. Happy and proactive ?:The role of hedonic and eudaimonic well-being in business owners’ personal initiative

This two-year study with 122 business owners examined the link between affective well-being and task-oriented as well as relationship-oriented personal initiative (PI). We tested two complementary models explaining the link between well-being and PI: (1) broaden-and-build theory and (2) self-regulation as limited resource approach. In line with current research on well-being, we differentiated between hedonic and eudaimonic well-being using life satisfaction and vigor as indicators. Hierarchical regression analyses showed that only vigor predicted both forms of PI. Economic Support during the COVID Crisis. Quantitative Easing and Lending Support Schemes in the UK

Abstract We investigate how UK bank business lending responded to the simultaneous use of quantitative easing, leverage ratio capital requirements, and government COVID lending support schemes. We find no evidence that the Brexit wave increased lending to nonfinancial businesses, compared to the previous waves, except for QE-banks subject to the UK leverage ratio, suggesting that the ratio incentivised QE-banks to lend to businesses. The government schemes helped expand lending especially to SMEs post the COVID wave, indicating that complementing QE with other credit easing programmes can reinforce its impact on lending to the real economy. Partial discharges behavior under different rectified waveforms

In this work, a previous software used to simulate partial discharges (PDs) under Alternating Current (AC) stress has been modified in order to evaluate the PDs behavior under a voltage stress close to the Direct Current (DC) waveform. By using a full-wave and a half-wave rectifier, the specimen with an air void defects has been subjected to a gradual constant stress. Finally, a capacitive filter has been inserted in order to produce a steadier voltage supply. Simulation results show that under an almost DC waveform, the PDs activity become less compared to AC stress.

Brexit is announced to take place and it appears, that the most probable scenario for the UK is the “Norway-Option”, i.e., to (again) become a member of the European Free Trade Association (EFTA) and join the EEA. The chapter identifies the major claims of the leave-campaign to analyse, whether by doing so, the Brexit proponents will achieve what they campaigned for.
