Enabling a culture for IT services; the role of the IT infrastructure library

Building on process management and service climate theories, this paper investigates the pertinent issues of whether firms that implement ITIL best practices for IT service management will also experience growth in their process management activities and IT service climate. First, ITIL practices imply that processes in the IT department should be managed on a daily basis; without process management, ITIL will fail beyond its initial implementation. Second, two of the main reasons for adopting ITIL are to become a service-oriented organisation and to deliver IT services that meet business needs. Human capital evaluation in knowledge-based organizations based on big data analytics

Abstract Starting from a Human Capital Analysis Model, this work introduces an original methodology for evaluating the performance of employees. The proposed architecture, particularly well suited to the special needs of knowledge-based organizations, is articulated into a framework able to manage cases where data is missing and an adaptive scoring algorithm takes into account seniority, performance, and performance evolution trends, allowing employee evaluation over longer periods. This article explores the potential synergy between computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) and collaboration engineering (CE). Both areas pursue the goal of understanding how to manage interactions in collaborative groups to achieve shared understanding, reduce process losses, and improve performance. By analyzing the research in the two areas, the authors identify several topics where exchange of research findings would be of mutual benefit. This paper investigates the sorts of risks and uncertainties inherent in implementing an e-learning information systems project in Estonia. The study uses a variation of the Delphi study in eliciting the risk factors or items from experienced top management professionals within the organisation. The main objective of the study is to identify the uncertainties or risks in the implementation of the systems, using the viewpoint of Estonia, which is an emerging economy. Behaviour change techniques describe the content of behaviour change interventions, but do not adequately account for the actions that people must themselves undertake to successfully change or self-manage motivation or behaviour. This paper describes the development of a compendium of self-enactable techniques, combining behaviour- and motivation-regulation techniques across six existing classifications of behaviour change techniques and three scoping reviews.
