The focus of this dissertation is on the effects of specific employer characteristics on wages and wage rigidity and how these characteristics enter the wage-setting process. The dissertation includes an introductory chapter and five separate essays. The introduction provides motivation, background on the main keywords and an overview of the thesis. Chapters two and three study how internal references affect wages and wage rigidity from a theoretical perspective. Particularly two aspects are focused: the control algorithm for the PMSMD, which allows to reduce the power losses of the electric drive without penalty on its dynamic performances and the optimization of an IPMSM (Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor) rotor configuration capable to increase the performances in terms of shaft torque production, limiting at the same time the rotor leakage flux. Flooding events in urban areas occur quite frequently as a consequence of rain events of lower intensity than the design one, even in case of correct network dimensioning. Inlets are in those cases the critical nodes, and efficient drainage is only ensured when care is taken on their appropriate design and positioning within the pluvial flood-prone areas. Przedstawiono różne rozwiązania dolnych źródeł ciepła pompy wykorzystujących powietrze atmosferyczne lub powietrze z systemu wentylacji budynku. Dokonano również analizy okresu zwrotu inwestycji systemu ogrzewania z wykorzystaniem powietrznej pompy ciepła.

In this regard, tungestophosphoric acid (PW12) was supported onto cerium-doped NH2-UiO-66 (PW12/Ce-NUiO-66) and employed for the photo-oxidation of dibenzothiophene (DBT) and quinoline (Qu). The objective of this paper is to review the efficiency of public expenditure for education in Romania compared to other EU countries, and to the EU average. Thus we proceeded to a benchmarking analysis. In order to perform an analysis of public spending efficiency for education by benchmarking at the EU level, representative indicators must be chosen in order to quantify the volume of efforts and effects. The effort of education was represented by public expenditure on education as percentage of GDP, and the effects took the form of a composite indicator consisting of 19 sub-indicators.
