Impact Evaluation of Innovative Selective Harmonic Mitigation Algorithm for Cascaded H-Bridge Inverter on IPMSM Drive Application

This paper presents a detailed analysis of the use of a novel Harmonic Mitigation algorithm for Cascaded H-Bridge Multilevel Inverter in electrical drives for the transportation field. For this purpose, an enhanced mathematical model of Interior Permanent Magnet Synchronous Motor (IPMSM), that takes into account simultaneously saturation, cross-coupling, spatial harmonics, and iron loss effects, has been used. Extraordinary Performance of Carbon‐Coated Anatase TiO 2 as Sodium‐Ion Anode

The synthesis of in situ polymer‐functionalized anatase TiO2 particles using an anchoring block copolymer with hydroxamate as coordinating species is reported, which yields nanoparticles (≈11 nm) in multigram scale. Thermal annealing converts the polymer brushes into a uniform and homogeneous carbon coating as proven by high resolution transmission electron microscopy and Raman spectroscopy. The strong impact of particle size as well as carbon coating on the electrochemical performance of anatase TiO2 is demonstrated. This paper uses a stochastic frontier production model to estimate the technical efficiency of 21 nations among the more industrialized countries in the world for the wide period from 1966 to 2007. A Cobb-Douglas with labour and capital as inputs, GDP as output and efficiency with exponential distribution appears to work good from a statistical point of view. This model is used to estimate in a bayesian approach the efficiency score of these 21 countries. The bayesian way, applied via Gibbs sampling, is here useful to avoid problems about the small number of observations. So, each efficiency score is obtained as mean of 10,000 draws. Pyöräilytyössä hyötysuhdetta (ulkoisen polkemistyön suhdetta kokonaisenergiankulutukseen)on helppo tutkia ja tällaiseen metaboliseen tehokkuuteen onkin määritelty monia erilaisia mittareita. Fysiologisten ja biomekaanisten muuttujien vaikutuksia näihin eri tavoin määritettyihin hyötysuhteisiin tunnetaan hyvinkin, mutta tätä ennen ei olla juurikaan tutkittu mitkä ovat eri tavoin määriteltyjen hyötysuhteiden keskinäiset suhteet. Tutkimukseen osallistui 14 perustervettä fyysisesti aktiivista 31 ± 6 vuotiasta mies- (n = 12)ja naistutkittavaa (n = 2).
