Political parties have been accused of being controlled by an elite or caste that has looked more for their own interests than for general interests. A new way of doing politics and new parties has appeared whose stated objective has been to return the voice to the militancy, assuming that it had been kidnapped by the inbreeding elites of the parties. This paper analyses whether the parties, whose power has traditionally been built from top to bottom, have assumed this change that would mean that power flows from the bottom up or has simply taken a cosmetic operation that apparently responds to this new way of doing policy, although the power is still in the hands of a minority. The spontaneous use of memory aids at different educational levels

Three groups of students in different educational levels: 8th–9th grade students (average age 15); 10th–11th grade students (average age 16); and college students (average age 21), completed a metamemory questionnaire on the use of external, general, and formal memory aids in everyday life and study situations. Short-term repetition, mental rehearsing, and summary elaboration were the most frequent aids. The least frequently used were those that require a special training to be used effectively (e.g. Digit-letters and method of loci). El Llibre de menescalia de la Societat Castellonenca de Cultura

The library of the Societat Castellonenca de Cultura (Castello de la Plana) keeps a Catalan manuscript on menescalia (veterinary medicine) virtually unknown to the specialists. Here we provide a diplomatic description, a presentation of its content, and particularly a first linguistic analysis. Our study allows us to locate its elaboration in the mid-14th century within the area of Morella, and to attribute it to a paraire or to a merchant.
