A MAS metamodel-driven approach to process fragments selection

The construction of ad-hoc design processes is more and more required today. In this paper we present our approach for the construction of a new design process following the Situational Method Engineering paradigm. We mainly focus on the selection and assembly activities on the base of what we consider a key element in agent design processes: the MAS metamodel. The paper presents an algorithm establishing a priority order in the realization (instantiation) of MAS metamodel elements by the fragments that will compose the new process.

This work focuses on the application and the comparison of three classification techniques over a text corpus composed of reviews of commercial products in order to detect opinions about them. Image cropping is a technique that is used to select the most relevant areas of an image, discarding the useless ones. Handmade selection, especially in case of large photo collections, is a time consuming task. Using differential geometric LARS algorithm to study the expression profile of a sample of patients with latex-fruit syndrome

Natural rubber latex IgE-mediated hypersensitivity is one of the most important health problems in allergy during recent years. The prevalence of individuals allergic to latex shows an associated hypersensitivity to some plant-derived foods, especially freshly consumed fruit. This association of latex allergy and allergy to plant-derived foods is called latex-fruit syndrome. The aim of this study is to use the differential geometric generalization of the LARS algorithm to identify candidate genes that may be associated with the pathogenesis of allergy to latex or vegetable.
