GEM bāzēts metamodelis betona plaisas virsmu vienojošo šķiedru slogojuma likuma identifikācijai

Betons ir viens no plašāk izmantotajiem materiāliem gan būvniecībā, gan arī specifiskākos pielietojumos, piemēram, no betona veido konteinerus bīstamo atkritumu uzglabāšanai. Betona sastāvam pievienojot šķiedras ir iespējams uzlabot tā īpašības. Ir būtiski zināt vai un kā šādā materiālā veidosies un attīstīsies plaisas. Šis pētījums ir veltīts skaitlisko modeļu izveidei, kas spēj prognozēt plaisas attīstību šķiedru betonā. Plaisas virsmu vienojošo šķiedru slogojuma likums tiek analizēts lietojot gan galīgo elementu modeli, gan metamodeli. Maģistra darbā veiktā analīze parāda, ka ar bilineāru funkciju var modelēt plaisas attīstību šķiedru betonā.

Biogēno elementu palielinātās koncentrācijas ūdensobjektos ir galvenais eitrofikācijas cēlonis. Lielākoties tie ūdensobjektos nonāk no lauksaimniecības zemēm, taču meža teritorijas aizņem ~52 % no Latvijas teritorijas, tādēļ būtiski novērtēt to ietekmi uz virszemes ūdeņu sastāvu. Meža meliorācijas sistēmu (MMS) ierīkošana Latvijas apstākļiem atbilstošajos meža tipos būtiski uzlabo kokaudžu ražību, padarot to par neatņemamu mežsaimniecības sastāvdaļu, taču arī intensificē barības vielu izskalošanos. Predicting stiffness and strength of birch pulp:Polylactic acid composites

This paper studies failure of birch pulp–polylactic acid composites. Stiffness and strength are calculated using the theory of short fibre composites and the results are compared to experimental data. The results differed from the experimental values by 0–6%. With less aligned fibres the short fibre theory is not feasible. The performance of the 40 wt% birch pulp – polylactic acid composite is predicted with X-ray microtomography based finite element modelling, and the results are compared with experiments. A method of ultrasound-assisted digestion followed by inductively coupled plasma optical emission spectrometry (ICP-OES) used for the determination of trace element (chromium, copper, lead, nickel, vanadium and zinc) concentrations in fly ash samples was developed. All the measurements were performed in robust plasma conditions. Ultrasound-assisted digestion procedures using digestion solutions of aqua regia and hydrofluoric acid (HF) resulted in recovery rates of over 80% for all the analyte elements. Bakalaura darbā “Kalcīts un tā veidošanās apstākļi augšējā devona Daugavas svītas dolomītos Latvijas centrālajā un austrumu daļā” ir raksturotas minerāla kalcīta fizikālās īpašības, mikroelementu saturs un veidošanās apstākļi. Pētījumi veikti 8 dolomīta atradnēs; ģeoloģiskajā griezumā un atradņu teritorijā salīdzinātas kalcīta īpašības. Testētas kalcīta fluorescences izpausmes, pētīti plānslīpējumi, raksturoti kalcītā sastopamie mikroelementi un oglekļa stabilo izotopu attiecības tajā. Chemoselective, Substrate-directed Fluorination of Functionalized Cyclopentane β-Amino Acids

This work describes a substrate-directed fluorination of some highly functionalized cyclopentane derivatives. The cyclic products incorporating CH2 F or CHF2 moieties in their structure have been synthesized from diexo- or diendo-norbornene β-amino acids following a stereocontrolled strategy. The synthetic study was based on an oxidative transformation of the ring carbon-carbon double bond of the norbornene β-amino acids, followed by transformation of the resulted "all cis" and "trans" diformyl intermediates by fluorination with "chemodifferentiation".
