Alakouluikäisten käyttäytymisen ja tunteiden hallinnan yhteys minäpystyvyyteen

Tässä Pro gradu -tutkielmassa tarkasteltiin alakouluikäisten 1) minäpystyvyyden yhteyttä 2) vahvuuteen ihmissuhteissa ja 3) vahvuuteen tunne-elämän hallinnassa. Tutkittavat olivat 3. ja 4. luokkalaisia. Lisäksi tarkasteltiin sukupuolen ja luokka-asteen yhteyttä kyseisiin muuttujiin. Tutkimusaineisto oli osa Jyväskylän yliopiston ja Niilo Mäki instituutin yhteistä minäpystyvyys ja oppimisvaikeusinterventio -hanketta, johon osallistui 1344 2. - 5. -luokkalaista Keski- ja Itä-Suomen kouluista vuosina 2013 - 2015. Tämän tutkimuksen tavoitteena oli selvittää, millaisia ovat opetuksellisesti haasteelliset sosioemotionaalista tukea tarvitsevat oppilaat alakoulun 3. – 6. luokilla opettavien luokan- ja erityisopettajien kokemuksen mukaan. Lisäksi selvitettiin, miten opettajat (N=44) kokevat selviytyvänsä sosioemotionaalista tukea tarvitsevan oppilaan opettajana. Selviytymisen kokemuksessa mitattavat osa-alueet olivat opettaja-oppilassuhde, opettajan tarjoama sosioemotionaalinen tuki ja opettajan minäpystyvyys. Tutkimuksen aineisto kerättiin verkossa täytettävän kyselylomakkeen avulla, ja aineisto analysoitiin tilastollisesti. Diplomdarbs „Sociālpedagoģiskā darbība izstumšanas mobinga mazināšanā vispārizglītojošās skolas 4.-6. klasēs” izstrādāts ar mērķi raksturot sociālpedagoģisko darbību 4.-6. klašu skolēnu izstumšanas mobinga mazināšanā. Teorētiskajā daļā aprakstīta mobinga būtība, cēloņi un sekas, izstumšanas mobinga specifika, sociālpedagoģiskā darbība izstumšanas mobinga mazināšanā. Praktiskajā daļā veikts pētījums par izstumšanas mobinga sastopamību Rīgas „X“ vidusskolas 4.-6. klasēs. Tika izstrādāta sociālpedagoģiskā programma „Sociālpedagoģiskā darbība 4.-6. klašu skolēnu izstumšanas mobinga mazināšanā”. Veikta programmas aprobācija un tās rezultātu analīze.

We examined whether learning experiences (value of success, mastery experience) and task properties (challenge) are related to early adolescents’ (n = 190, median age = 12) emotional responses and psychophysiological states (autonomic nervous system, ANS) in achievement situations in an ambulatory laboratory. They completed four achievement tasks (two math and two reading) at different challenge levels in randomized order, and reported their learning and task perceptions for each task.
