Epigeous insects in the “Dumbrava Sibiului” oak forest were captured between 2013-2014. From April to September in each year. 12 traps were installed in a circle 147 individuals collected belonged to 28 species and 6 families: Carabidae – 14 species (50.0%), 187 individuals (77.37 %), Staphylinidae – 7 species (25.0 %), 15 individuals (6.17 %), Silphidae – 3 species (10.72 %), 29 individuals (11.93 %), Elateridae – 1 species (3.51 %), 1 individual (0.41 % ), Scarabaeidae – 2 species (7.14 %), 8 individuals (3.29 %), Forficulidae – 1 species (3.51 %), 2 individuals (0.82 %)). Ptiliolum marginatum (Aube, 1850) (Coleoptera: Ptiliidae)– gatunek nowy dla Polski z Białowieskiego Parku Narodowego

We present the first record of Ptiliolum marginatum for Poland. The specimens have been extracted from two nests of the wood warbler Phylloscopus sibilatrix in 2020, during investigations of the invertebrate fauna inhabiting bird nests. The samples were collected in the strictly protected part of the Białowieża National Park, in eastern Poland. We provide general information on the geographical distribution of Ptiliolum marginatum in Europe, the state of knowledge of the genus Ptiliolum in Poland, and further documentation including colour photographs of dorsal and ventral habitus, and characteristic features of hind femora and spermatheca of females.

Le comunità di fillominatori e parassitoidi della Riserva Naturale “Bosco d’Alcamo” (Sicilia)

È stata studiata la comunità di fillominatori e parassitoidi su 16 specie di piante spontanee della Riserva Naturale “Bosco d’Alcamo”. Sono state rinvenute 17 specie di Lepidoptera e 7 specie di Diptera. Da queste sono sfarfallate circa 20 specie di parassitoidi, perlopiù rappresentate da Eulophidae e Braconidae. Viene confermata la presenza in Sicilia del Gracillariidae Phyllonorycter trifasciella Haworth e dell’Eulophidae Derostenus gemmeus Westwood. Per la prima volta Sympiesis notata (Zetterstedt) e Cirrospilus viticola (Rondani) sono stati rinvenuti come parassitoidi di Emme- tia marginea (Haworth). This research study describes the results obtained during the years 2013-2014 by capturing in the soil traps, the epigenous artropodofauna in the Dumbrava Sibiului Forest. In addition, the entomofauna structure was studied and ecological interpretations were achieved regarding aspects such as: abundance, dominance, phenology of the collected species collected making a their description from an ecological and ethological point of view.
