National audience; Une recherche interdisciplinaire associant la palynologie et la géochimie a été réalisée dans une tourbière du Pays Basque, dans un secteur reconnu par l'archéologie comme étant un ancien centre minier. Ces différentes analyses ont permis de reconstituer des activités minières et métallurgiques et d'en évaluer l'impact sur la forêt au cours des cinq derniers millénaires.

Elles ont ainsi un rôle particulier dans la gestion des flux d’azote au sein des systèmes de culture, et dans les bilans environnementaux qui en découlent. Some of them are elicitors of plant defenses whereas other ones act as signaling molecules in a manner similar to phytohormones. This review first describes the main classes of carbohydrates associated to plant immunity, their role and mode of action. The price of climate: French consumer preferences reveal spatial and individual inequalities.

National audience; We use the hedonic price method to study consumer preferences for climate temperature, very hot or cold days, and rainfall) in France, a temperate countrywith varied climates. Data are for (i) individual attributes and prices of houses and workers and (ii) climate attributes interpolated from weather stations. We show that French households value warmer temperatures while very hot days are a nuisance. Such climatic amenities are attributes of consumers’ utility function; nevertheless, global warming assessments by economists, such as the Stern Review Report (2006), ignore these climatic preferences. Starting with artificial light as new object damage and emerging environmental problem, this paper intends to develop a general reflection showing the importance of a greater consideration of cognitive dimensions of the damage and risk analysis in environmental conflicting processes. We show how the cost-benefit analysis after the neoclassical theory of production, often used in the search for Pareto-optimal state and in the policies of monetary compensation to resolve environmental conflicts can - indeed must - be strongly challenged. The prevention and sanction aspects of the protection against the pollution is manifested in Europe by the combination and complementarity of two matters (environment and fundamental rights) and two legal orders (European Union and Council of Europe). International audience; Dans cette recherche, nous nous attachons à dévoiler les stratégies communicationnelles des ONG qui visent à inscrire les opinions et les actes quotidiens des individus dans des préoccupations environnementales. Plus précisément, nous entreprenons une lecture symbolique des campagnes d'affichage de l'ONG WWF, considérant l'affiche comme forme signifiante où logo, image et slogan constituent un « tout » dans la construction du sens. Ainsi, l'affiche comme objet signifiant sera éclairée à l'aune du symbolique et au coeur d'une mise en récit.
