Normalized Solutions to the Fractional Schrödinger Equation with Potential

AbstractThis paper is concerned with the existence of normalized solutions to a class of Schrödinger equations driven by a fractional operator with a parametric potential term. We obtain minimization of energy functional associated with that equations assuming basic conditions for the potential. Our work offers a partial extension of previous results to the non-local case.
New high-pressure phase and equation of state of Ce2Zr2O8

In this paper we report a new high-pressure rhombohedral phase of Ce2Zr2O8 observed from high-pressure angle-dispersive x-ray diffraction and Raman spectroscopy studies up to nearly 12 GPa. The ambient-pressure cubic phase of Ce2Zr2O8 transforms to a rhombohedral structure beyond 5 GPa with a feeble distortion in the lattice. Pressure evolution of unit-cell volume showed a change in compressibility above 5 GPa. The unit-cell parameters of the high-pressure rhombohedral phase at 12.1 GPa are ah = 14.6791(3) {\AA}, ch = 17.9421(5) {\AA}, V = 3348.1(1) {\AA}3. Cubic color charge correlator in a proton made of three quarks and a gluon

The three point correlation function of color charge densities is evaluated explicitly in light cone gauge for a proton on the light cone. This includes both $C$-conjugation even and odd contributions. We account for perturbative corrections to the three-quark light cone wave function due to the emission of an internal gluon which is not required to be soft. We verify the Ward identity as well as the cancellation of UV divergences in the sum of all diagrams so that the correlator is independent of the renormalization scale. Stronger C -odd color charge correlations in the proton at higher energy

The non-forward eikonal scattering matrix for dipole-proton scattering at high energy obtains an imaginary part due to a $C$-odd three gluon exchange. We present numerical estimates for the perturbative Odderon amplitude as a function of dipole size, impact parameter, their relative azimuthal angle, and light-cone momentum cutoff $x$. The proton is approximated as $\psi_\mathrm{qqq}|qqq\rangle + \psi_\mathrm{qqqg}|qqqg\rangle$, where $\psi_\mathrm{qqq}$ is a non-perturbative three quark model wave function while the gluon emission is computed in light-cone perturbation theory. In this thesis consisting of two publications and an overview part, a study of two aspects of energy density functionals has been performed. Firstly, we have linked the next-to-next-to-next-to-leading order nuclear energy density functional to a zero-range pseudopotential that includes all possible terms up to sixth order in derivatives. Within the Hartree-Fock approximation, the quasi-local nuclear Energy Density Functional (EDF) has been calculated as the average energy obtained from the pseudopotential. The present study investigated the extent to which parental behavior in daily interaction with one’s child mediates the associations between parental depressive symptoms and children’s daily distress. The participants were 152 Finnish families with a 6- to 7-year-old child. Parents’ depressive symptoms were assessed using the revised Beck Depression Inventory. Children’s distress was operationalized as negative daily emotions assessed by using mother-, father-, and teacher-reported diary questionnaires. In western countries, a significant degree of vaccination has been achieved, but in Spain, less than 75% of the population has received both doses. The current situation is still seen as a threat by many people. Therefore, it is important to have reliable and valid measurement instruments to assess the impact of COVID-19 on the population. In this study, the Fear of COVID-19 Scale has been adapted to Spain, and its psychometric properties have been studied in a Spanish sample using Structural Equation Modeling. This study aimed to translate the modified Group Environment Questionnaire (GEQ) and the Youth Sport Environment Questionnaire (YSEQ) into Norwegian, examine the factor structure and reliability of the scales through independent clusters model confirmatory factor analysis (ICM-CFA) and exploratory structural equation modeling (ESEM), and examine differential item functioning (DIF) as a function of sex.
