Debido a sus grandes diferencias, anatómicas y funcionales, el estudio de la región craneocervical se separa del resto de la columna cervical. El complejo craneocervical se considera responsable de signos y síntomas muy diferentes a los que encontramos en el raquis cervical inferior, como por ejemplo vértigos, cefaleas de distinto origen, etc. El objetivo de la técnica de thrust para una disfunción en rotación del atlas con contacto indexial es devolver la movilidad y funcionalidad a la vértebra. Es importante dominar los principios básicos de realización de la técnica para poder aplicar una correcta intervención terapéutica tras haber descartado los posibles riesgos de la manipulación.

The purpose of this study was to analyse the evolution between 2009 and 2010 of residents of Tarragona's perceptions of the importance, impact and expected benefits of hosting the 2017 Mediterranean Games in Tarragona. A questionnaire was administered to two random samples of residents of Tarragona one year apart. The results showed high percentages of people who felt that this sporting event is either quite important or very important from an economic, social and sporting perspective and that it also has a high local and regional impact, albeit not so much at a national or international level. El estudio propone un modelo de patrocinio deportivo que toma como eje la transferencia entre evento y marca en términos de valor y experiencia, abundando en sus antecedentes y efectos. Encuestando en 2012 a 364 asistentes al GP de Fórmula 1 de València se concluye que no se transfiere el valor del evento a la marca, pero sí la experiencia. Asimismo, se observa que ambos términos (experiencia y valor) están significativamente relacionados. El objetivo de este estudio fue determinar el estado de la investigación cualitativa en las ciencias de la actividad física y del deporte en España, a partir del análisis de 1057 artículos publicados entre 2007 y 2011 en revistas españolas del campo indexadas en Scopus. Los resultados indican que sólo el 3.5% de los trabajos recurre a la metodología cualitativa y que en su mayor parte utilizan la entrevista como técnica de recogida de datos.
