Insufficient literature has been produced addressing children with borderline intellectual functioning (BIF) and gifted intellectual functioning (GIF). The goal of this work is to compare levels of self-esteem, depression, anxiety at school, and insecurity among children with BIF and GIF, and a control group of average intellectual functioning (AIF). There were participants of 104 children (fourth grade of primary school). Analyses revealed that children with BIF showed a lower level of self-esteem and higher levels of depression and school anxiety. However, personal factors in the ICF are not explicitly coded because of cultural differences that influence physical activity (PA) participation. Emīlijas Ģēveles diplomdarbs “Sociālpedagoģiskā darbība Rīgas X vidusskolas 7.-9. klašu skolēnu adekvāta pašvērtējuma veicināšanā” izstrādāts 2020./2021. mācību gadā. Diplomdarba mērķis bija veicināt 7.-9. klašu skolēnu adekvāta pašvērtējuma veidošanos Rīgas X vidusskolā. Darbā teorētiskā daļa sastāv no pašvērtējuma jēdziena izpētes, un pašvērtējumu ietekmējošo faktoru analīzes, kā arī adekvāta pašvērtējuma veidošanās priekšnoteikumiem. Diplomdarba praktiskajā daļā tika veikts pētījums par Rīgas X vidusskolas 7.-9. klašu skolēnu pašvērtējumu, izstrādāta un aprobēta sociālpedagoģiskās darbības programma skolēnu adekvāta pašvērtējuma veidošanās veicināšanai.

This dataset contains all three phases of data collection from the survey study Fear of Childbirth, Birth Experiences, Self-Esteem and Parental Burnout. The data contains answers from participants (n=125) in late pregnancy (30+ weeks in gestation) and postpartum (4-8 weeks after childbirth and 1 year after childbirth). The data is collected in 2020-2021 from four Finnish cities. Participants have completed background information (in pregnancy), fear of childbirth scale (W-DEQ, all three time points), Rosenberg self-esteem scale (all three time points), and Delivery Satisfaction scale (only 4-8 weeks postpartum). Objective: Fear of childbirth (FOC), also referred to as tokophobia, can have detrimental consequences for a woman’s well-being during pregnancy and for their subjective birth experience. However, it is unknown what role self-esteem plays in the relationship between FOC and the experience of childbirth.
