Master's thesis religion - University of Agder 2017 In this thesis in applied ethics, «The ethical egoist case for dietary veganism, or the individual animal and his will to live», I argue that taking non-human animals into consideration can be argued for from an approach of ethical egoism. I argue that from the standpoint of egoism, in most cases you would be well advised to adopt a vegan diet, that means, practically speaking, a diet rid of animal products. The thesis is divided into four main chapters. The first presents other approaches to animal ethics and the issue of dietary vegetarianism or veganism. Idioms can be found in a variety of different texts, such as papers, debates, speaks etc. Despite being frequent in the language, little attention has been paid to idioms in school and in the Norwegian subject in high school. De fire informantene er alle kvinner, og de flyttet fra Kristiansand til hhv. Oslo, Bergen og London for 10-15 år siden. Jeg spør hva slags språklige strategier de fire har valgt i møte med et annet talemål på tilflyttingsstedet og hva som kan tenkes å ligge bak disse strategiene. However, fewer of these studies have been conducted on anadromous brown trout (sea trout) and have been limited to only a few genetic markers like allozymes, mtDNA or microsatellites. Here we analyzed population structure and connectivity in sea trout applying a modern genomic approach, analyzing 503 single nucleotide polymorphic variants (SNP’s) by next generation sequencing.
