The aim of the master thesis is to identify the role of EU public procurement legislation in ensuring the common market principles in the public procurement procedures within the construction industry. In this thesis, the influence of the EU legislation on the public procurement market of the construction industry will be studied. The most important factors which hinder the involvement of foreign companies in procurement procedures of other member states will be determined and analysed.

Abstract Alternative dispute resolution schemes (ADR) have been developed differently across the EU. It is difficult to determine which of the countries have developed the most successful schemes. Therefore the aim of this article is to summarize different organizational aspects of ADR schemes across the EU, to determine similarities across different countries and to define them in specific systems. Defining these schemes in systems will not only help to evaluate and compare ADR schemes and their success between different countries but will help also professionals, governments and other stakeholders to develop more effective ADR schemes across the EU, Iceland and Norway.

Global current account imbalances and intra-euro area imbalances have been at the forefront of academic and policy debates for the last ten years. This thesis examines the determinants of current account balances and external adjustment. It consists of an introduction and four empirical studies. This thesis highlights the importance of institutional factors such as differences in national cultures and cross-country differences in the coordination of wage bargaining on external balances. The first study investigates the effects of deep determinants on current account balances. La Corte europea dei diritti dell'uomo nella sentenza Schalk and Kopf del 2010 ha riconosciuto la relazione omosessuale come una delle possibili manifestazioni della vita privata e familiare, la cui tutela è sancita dall'art. 8 Cedu.
