This paper makes a case for the “contractual-publicist” nature of the managers’ liability regime, although this matter lies within the scope of civil courts’ jurisdiction. Even though the law assigns civil courts the role in deciding disputes regarding potential infringement of public managers claims, these should be considered legitimate expectations (public law) and not rights (civil law). Except for the recovery of the executive jurisdiction of the administrative court, if the administration refuses to fulfil the civil judgment and the public manager spontaneously appeals for compliance, rather than (or together with) the civil one of forced execution.

Whether the executive profile is different between obesity (OB) and morbid obesity (MO) remains unclear. Recent evidence suggests that physical activity (PA) can act as a cognitive enhancer. Irisin is a recently discovered hormone associated with some of the positive effects of PA. The objective of the study was to investigate the executive profile in OB and MO, and to explore the role of PA and irisin. 114 participants were included (21 OB, 44 MO and 49 healthy controls-HC) in the study and assessed with the Wisconsin Card Sorting Test, Stroop Color and Word Test, and Iowa Gambling Task. It has been 15 years since Kaplan-Solms and Solms published their Clinical Studies in Neuropsychoanalysis, where they proposed a neuroanatomy of the mental apparatus. One of their main observations was that damage to certain areas of the left prefrontal cortex (PFC), particularly those related to expressive language (Broca’s area), did not generate changes in the mental apparatus. However, a limitation of their model was that it did not include patients with damage to other areas of the left PFC. Background: Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) techniques provided evidences into the understanding of cognitive impairment (CIm) in Multiple Sclerosis (MS). Objectives: To investigate the role of white matter (WM) and gray matter (GM) in predicting long-term CIm in a cohort of MS patients. Methods: 303 out of 597 patients participating in a previous multicenter clinical-MRI study were enrolled (49.4% were lost at follow-up).
