Wearable electronics are often used for estimating the energy expenditure of the user based on heart rate measurement. While heart rate is a good predictor of calorie consumption at high intensities, it is less precise at low intensity levels, which translates into inaccurate results when estimating daily net energy expenditure. In this study, heart rate measurement was augmented with heat flux (HF) measurement, a form of direct calorimetry. Analysis of the tourism economies of a region is relevant for determining the policies and effects of tourism on the productive and economic system. For the Tuscany region, the main economic indicators are analysed using panel data and checking their development and growth dynamics. The article analyses data on tourism spending, balance of payments and impacts, with reference to both ISTAT data and estimates of ignored tourism in the region.

The paper presents some remarks about the distortion of survey data that occurs when tourists are asked to recall the amount of their expenditure for the holiday. The difference between the concepts of perceived expenditure and reminded expenditure is stressed through a review of the relevant literature. An econometric analysis of PRIN 2007 survey data is then presented, with the aim of estimating the personal characteristics of the respondents that are most likely to do errors in remembering their expenditure.

Jednym z podstawowych naruszeń podlegających odpowiedzialności za naruszenie dyscypliny finansów publicznych jest dokonanie wydatku ze środków publicznych bez upoważnienia albo z przekroczeniem upoważnienia określonego w stosownych aktach planowania finansowego. Ustawa o odpowiedzialności za naruszenie dyscypliny finansów publicznych nie zawiera jednak definicji pojęć, którymi posługuje się ustawodawca przy penalizacji czynów. Odsyła w tym zakresie do określeń w znaczeniu nadanym ustawą o finansach publicznych.
