Experiencing Finnair's new Airbus A350 : How Service Innovation can lead to a Premium Price

This study focuses on the customer experiences of air passengers travelling on the latest-technology aircraft currently available on the market, the Airbus A350. A questionnaire was conducted in cooperation with Europe’s first A350 operator, Finnair, to study the customer experience of flying on this new aircraft. Altogether 1,404 responses were recorded. The questionnaire focused on the A350 as a service innovation as well as on 10 aspects that had been used by Finnair to communicate the enhanced customer experience of flying on this new aircraft. Emotion-related areas of the brain, such as the medial frontal cortices, amygdala, and striatum, are activated during listening to sad or happy music as well as during listening to pleasurable music. Indeed, in music, like in other arts, sad and happy emotions might co-exist and be distinct from emotions of pleasure or enjoyment. Here we aimed at discerning the neural correlates of sadness or happiness in music as opposed those related to musical enjoyment. This research clarifies how a collaborative team teaching model (CTTM) can support both pre-service and in-service teachers’ professional development in using inquiry-based science teaching in primary schools. The data were collected via a questionnaire-based survey approach after inquiry projects implementation at public schools in four Finnish cities. This study examined Flow with Nature (FWN) treatment, which is an integrative intervention (rehabilitation) based on eco and environmental psychology, psychotherapeutic theories and professional psychological practice. FWN is intended for depression rehabilitation with the help of social support, nature environments and FWN exercises. Exercises encourage sensing the environment, mindful awareness, psychological processing and focusing on the future.
