TESTING FOR REAL INTEREST RATE PARITY USING PANEL STATIONARITY TESTS WITH DEPENDENCE: A NOTE*

In this paper we test for real interest parity (RIRP) among the 19 major OECD countries over the period 1978:Q1–2006:Q1 using both short- and long-run definitions of interest rates. Once the independence hypothesis is rejected among these series, we test for RIRP using panel data unit root and stationarity tests based on common factor models that allow for pervasive forms of dependence. Our results indicate that there is no evidence in favor of the weak version of the RIRP since one of the common factors that have been estimated is non-stationary.
Development and validation of a scale to assess social entrepreneurship competency in Higher Education

This paper proposes an instrument to assess social entrepreneurship competency in higher education (SECS). 19 Features of social entrepreneurship competency were identified. The pilot test (n = 497) confirmed the validity and reliability of the SECS. Exploratory factor analysis proposed a set of categories consistent with the initial approach. Confirmatory factor analysis showed acceptable relationships among the scale categories and items, while the fit indices suggested that the data fit adequately to the default model. Objective:- The aim of this study was to develop and validate a new questionnaire designed to measure caregiver skills that, in line with the interpersonal component of the cognitive interpersonal maintenance model (Schmidt and Treasure, J Br J Clin Psychol, 45, 343–366, 2006), may be helpful in the support of people with anorexia nervosa (AN). The concept of empowering leadership has attracted widespread academic and practical interest and different questionnaires have been developed to measure it. Worldwide, the Satisfaction With Life Scale (SWLS) has become the most widely used measure of life satisfaction. Recently, an authorized Vietnamese-language version has been introduced. Using a convenience sample comprising community volunteers from Ho Chi Minh City (N = 1073), confirmatory support was found for the cross-national constancy of the one-dimensional structure underlying the SWLS. Corrected item–total polyserial correlations and Omega coefficient were satisfactory. Objetivo: validar un instrumento para valorar la formación práctica y la satisfacción con las asignaturas de Practicum de los estudiantes de Enfermería. Método: estudio observacional, descriptivo, transversal (curso 2014-2015). Validación de un cuestionario autoadministrado y anónimo (17 ítems) de Satisfacción sobre el Practicum en Estudiantes de Enfermería, elaborado por consenso de ocho expertos en formación práctica (en tres sesiones de grupo nominal).
