Inulin-Based Hydrogel for Oral Delivery of Flutamide: Preparation, Characterization, and in vivo Release Studies

The ability of a hydrogel obtained by crosslinking INUDV and PEGBa to facilitate sustained release of flutamide is examined. The hydrogel is prepared in pH 7.4 PBS and no toxic solvents or catalysts are used. It is recovered in microparticulate form and its size distribution is determined. Mucoadhesive properties are evaluated in vitro by reproducing gastrointestinal conditions. Flutamide is loaded into the hydrogel using a post-fabrication encapsulation procedure that allows a drug loading comparable to that of market tablets. Biodegradable polymeric nanoparticles have been prepared by UV irradiation of an acryloylated water soluble polymer by an inverse microemulsion. The starting polymer was a α,β‐poly(N‐2‐hydroxyethyl)‐D,L‐aspartamide (PHEA) partially functionalized with glycidyl methacrylate (GMA) in order to introduce reactive vinyl groups in the side chain. This paper analyses the drivers for adopting irrigation systems with water conservation and saving technologies (WCSTs) by Italian farmers. The agricultural sector in Italy, like in other Mediterranean countries, suffers from water scarcity and water endowment variability. Water resources play a decisive role in agricultural production and in implementing large-scale WCSTs capable of improving the resilience of the whole agricultural sector. The purpose of this article is to focus on the motif of the countryside in Roman satire. In particular, it aspires to study the way the Sabine farm is delineated in Horace's Satire 2.6 and later in his Epistles, in order to elucidate the evolution of this motif in Persius? 6th Satire. In this poem, Persius addresses Caesius Bassus, who retreats to Sabine to seek poetic inspiration, but seems trapped in the paths of earlier poetry and cannot attain bliss, while the poet achieves it in the port of Luna.

We study the endogenous formation of networks between manufacturers of differentiated goods and multi-product retailers who interact in a successive duopoly. Joint consent is needed to establish and/or maintain a costly link between a manufacturer and a retailer. Dans la littérature économique, de nombreux travaux tentent d'expliquer pourquoi les individus s’assurent aussi peu contre la dépendance. Du côté de l’offre, différents freins possibles au développement du marché de l’assurance dépendance ont d’ores et déjà été pointés du doigt par la littérature. Les estimations récentes montrent néanmoins que les limites imputables à l’offre ne suffisent pas à expliquer le faible développement du marché : même si les assurances étaient moins coûteuses et les couvertures proposées plus larges, la majorité des individus ne souscrirait toujours pas d’assurance.
