Several epidemiological studies have shown an inverse association between the consumption of polyphenol-rich foods and risk of cardiovascular diseases. However, accuracy and reliability of these studies may be increased using urinary total polyphenol excretion (TPE) as a biomarker for total polyphenol intake. Japānas krūmcidonijas Chaenomeles japonica šūnu suspensijas kultūras raksturošana pielietošanai biotehnoloģijā

Darba mērķis bija raksturot Japānas krūmcidonijas Chaenomeles japonica suspensiju kultūru un izvērtēt tās pielietojumu biotehnoloģijā. Darbā no C. japonica kallusu kultūrām iegūtas suspensiju kultūras, veikta šūnu vizualizācija ar fluorescences mikroskopijas metodēm. Konstruēta augšanas līkne, no kuras ievākti paraugi antiradikālās aktivitātes, kopējo fenolu un antocianīnu satura noteikšanai. Lielāko fenolu savienojumu koncentrāciju un augstāko antiradikālo un antimikrobiālo aktivitāti uzrādīja stacionārās fāzes paraugi. Lielāko antocianīnu saturu uzrādīja astotās dienas paraugs. Šūnas suspensijās agregātos bija lielākoties dediferencējušās.

1 The effects of dopamine and both DA-1 and DA-2 dopamine receptor agonists have been studied on the contractile force of electrically driven guinea-pig left atria and frequency of spontaneously beating right atria. 2 Pretreatment of animals with reserpine caused a parallel rightward shift of the concentration-response curve to dopamine of either preparation. 3 Propranolol, but not domperidone, shifted to the right the dose-response curve for the positive inotropic and chronotropic effects of dopamine. 4 Neither apomorphine, fenoldopam, bromocriptine nor piribedil had effects on the frequency and contractile force of the isolated guinea-pig atria. 5 These results suggest that DA-1 and DA-2 …

Bakalaura darbs, 50 lappuses, 27 attēli, 9 tabulas, 55 literatūras avoti, 2 pielikumi. Latviešu valodā. Bakalaura darbā izstrādāta jauna elektroķīmiska para-metoksibenzil aizsarggrupas šķelšanas metode, izmantojot 2,3-dihlor-5,6-diciāno-1,4-benzohinonu kā elektronu pārneses mediatoru. Metode piemērota para-metoksibenzil aizsargātiem funkcionalizētiem fenoliem. Sintezēti fenolu para-metoksibenzilēteri, veikta sintezēto savienojumu pierādīšana ar spektroskopijas metodēm.
Latvijas medus kvalitātes un autentiskuma parametru izvērtējums

Darba literatūras daļā ir dota informācija par medu un tā patēriņu un ražošanu Latvijā un pasaulē, medus viltošanu un kvalitātes parametriem, analītiskās metodes medus kvalitātes rādītāju noteikšanai, šķidruma hromatogrāfijas un masspektrometrijas pielietojums polifenolu analīzē, statistiskās un datu apstrādes metodoloģijas medus ģeogrāfiskās izcelsmes noteikšanai. Darbā ir veiktu flavonoīdu, fenolo skābju, vitamīnu un augu hormonu noteikšanas metodes izstrāde un validācija medū. Pēc tam ar šo metodi ir noteikts medus sastāvs 394 Latvijas medus paraugos un 35 Gruzijas medus paraugos, kas pēc tam savā starpā tiek salīdzināts, izmantojot literatūras datus un galveno komponentu analīzi.
