Influence de différentes pratiques agricoles sur la qualité et la santé des sols : étude de cas sur des vergers slovènes irrigués ou en agriculture b…

2011

Underestimation of soil properties and poor understanding of soil conditions can have many negative consequences, which results in quality or quantity of yield, soil degradation or even environmental pollution. According to importance of agricultural practices, our study focused on their impact on soil quality and health. The research took place from November 2003 to October 2007 in apple orchards in north-eastern Slovenia where two frequent agricultural practices were investigated: (i) drip irrigation on Calcaric Cambisol and its effects on structural stability and microbial biomass at Gačnik experimental station and (ii) combination of organic fertiliser (Campo guano) and liming in organi…

The efficiency of humic growth stimulators in pre-sowing seed treatment and foliar additional fertilizing of sown areas of grain and industrial crops

2019

Article The aim of the research was to establish the effectiveness of preparations, made on the basis of humic and fulvic acids on the yields of crops in case of different methods and amounts used. The experiments were held with varieties and hybrids of winter wheat, soya, corn, and sunflower. Based on the obtained results of investigation during the period of 2015–2017, the positive impact of foliar additional fertilizing with 4R Foliar Concentrate growth stimulator on the basis of humic and fulvic acids on the formation of productivity of the main crops sown areas was established. Proceeding from the results of the research, the using of growth stimulators based on humic and fulvic acids,…

THE INFLUENCE OF RED WORMS (E. FOETIDA) ON COMPOST’S FERTILIZING PROPERTIES

2014

Composting is becoming a more and more common way of biodegradable waste disposal. Composts should be characterized by high content of nutrients and low amount of pollutants. Vermicompost is a compost produced by overpopulated culture of earthworm Eisenia foetida (Savigny 1826). World scientific literature states that vermicompost has a high fertilizing value which often exceeds such value of conventional composts. The results showed that vermicompost has a much higher fertilizing value than the compost produced by the traditional pile method. However, prism vermicompost created with the participation of a less concentrated population of earthworms has an intermediate value as a fertilizer …

A virtual spreader to overcome experimental limits: Example of use to deepen the meaning of the transverse coefficient of variation

2021

National audience; Nowadays, centrifugal spreading is the most used method to apply fertiliser in fields. Numeroustechnical developments have improved spreaders to reach high precision applications.Nevertheless, these developments have never taken into account the influence of the spreadingvelocity variation on the shape of the spread pattern. However, practical examples show that speedvariations regularly happen in the field. For instance, high speeds applications require punctualslowing down because of:- Trees or posts;- Slopes, hills;- Field borders/ends.Technical devices already exist to avoid the influence of the travel speed on the disc rotation speedand on the application rate in fie…
