Today the traditional beliefs, customs and rites relating to the harvest time are very limited as their contemporary functions and dimension have changed. The authoress is interested in the transformation process of a harvest festival that is typical of the old rural communities. La música en vivo de vanguardia se utiliza para sensibilización y la conexión intergeneracional entre niños y sus acompañantes. Partint de la necessitat de promocionar la cultura, i especialment, la música entre el públic infantil es planteja aquest projecte de producció d'un festival en la ciutat de València. The essay links the circular time of festivals with the theoretical activity of philosophy. To this goal, it examines the relation among play, festival, and experience of truth in Gadamer starting with a confrontation between Aristotle’s conception of the relation between play and philosophy and Gadamer’s own conception. The essay then shows how, by focusing anew on the religious origin of holidays, Perone further develops the temporal character of philosophy, which unfolds precisely in philosophy’s unavoidable tension with the eternal.

Submitting projects to international funds and the subsequent festival tour are obligatory steps for most films that, outside purely commercial circuits, seek distribution and cultural legitimacy beyond their national borders. In this globalized context, European support funds are particularly important. Following the path opened by pioneering scholars (De Valck, Elsaesser, Falicov, Shaw), this article aims to study the transnational networks in which Latin American cinema is currently involved.
