this paper presents a reflection on Philosophy and University. Philosophy is an activity than harder could be classified as solely academical. Furthermore, we can distinguish three elements always present in Philosophical teaching such as a cluster of own content, well-thinking procedures and, finally, a way of being in world. They three are linked and the problems between Philosophy and University probably arise from the conjunction of all three. However is difficult to find a solution I speculate about different ways of reducing tension between Philosophy and University
Actualidad de los humanismos en economía ética y bioética
2006
The aim of this contribution is to defend a new humanism for the business ethics and bioethics in the 21st Century. This proposal is based in two traditions of modern humanism: the Scottish (Adam Smith) and the German (Kant). The first one is characterized by the incorporation of feelings to the economic activity; and the second one represents the point of view of moral universalism, which considers: human being as an end itself and human dignity as an unconditional value.
Sobre l'art de prudència i l'art de l'ocasió (notes sobre el barroc i Gracián)
2008
The article proposes an analysis about the Prudence and the Occasion in the Baltasar Gracián's first works. The Prudence, as knowledge and practical wisdom, is the exercise of the natural reason, not in abstract, but in his concrete and practical application to the experience of the reality. The Occasion is possess the fleeting way since the things happen and appear in the world. Gracián takes elements of the Baroque Thought in order to make them as one's own and to offer an art of Prudence and an art of the Occasion in order that they operate so much the public man (reason of State) as the private man (reason of state of the individual).

Analysis of the human sciences discourse according M. Foucault's views on relationships between power, truth and fiction. The emergence of human sciences allowed to reduce human reality to a subject of scientific study. Foucault tried to capture this «event» putting it on stage, showing how, below the placid staging of its games of truth, struggles, violence and battles are hidden. In this sense, Foucault understood philosophical activity as an act of indiscipline, or as an art of reasoned indocility, insofar as thinking turned into experiment would allow us not only to problematize what we are, but it would also provide us with tactical indicators to guide us in the complex theatre of trut…

La crisis de la humanidad europea en pleno apogeo tras Husserl
2008
The author considers the way in which he as a representative of the Goethe-institute experienced and was constrained by the cultural and educational politics of the Federal Republic of Germany. The internal and external circumstances did not permit a rational discussion of the disaster that was National Socialism. Whilst all that would have been required was to remember the deliberations of Edmund Husserl in his lecture 'Philosophy and the crisis of European humanity,' 1935.
Liberación e interculturalidad. La refundamentación del sujeto como inter-sujeto
2011
Philosophy of Liberation raises the fundamental question for the possible realization of genuinely ethical praxis, of a liberated and authentic life. In fact, this conditio sine qua non implies that the category of 'liberation' does not belong only to the contingent dimension expressed by the sociopolitical situation in which being Latin-American people, or of the Third World, but point to the very constitution of subjectivity as intersubjectivity and, therefore, liberated and liberating. Then the 'liberation' modifies the conditions generated by each culture and the subject becomes able to recognize itself as based on relationships with others. Thus, subjectivity reveals its fundamental fo…
