Abstract The crystals of a new aqua-(diethylenetriamine-N, N′, N′′)-copper(II) sulfate monohydrate have been synthesized by direct interaction of solid copper(II) sulfate pentahydrate with diethylenetriamine (deta). The crystal structure of [Cu(deta)H2O]SO4⋅H2O (1) has been determined by X-ray diffraction methods at 100 K and characterized using X-ray powder diffraction pattern: space group P 1 ¯ , a = 7.2819(4), b = 8.4669(4), c = 8.7020(3) A, α = 83.590(3), β = 89.620(4), γ = 84.946(4)°, Z = 2. Synthesis, structural, and thermal characterization of a new binuclear copper(II) chelate complex bearing an amine-hardener for epoxy resins

A new di(μ-carbonato)bis[aqua(diethylenetriamine)copper(II)] hexahydrate complex, [{Cu(NH(C2H4NH2)2)(H2O)(μ-CO3)}2]⋅6H2O (1), was synthesized by direct interaction of malachite with diethylenetriamine (dien). The crystals of 1 were characterized by X-ray powder diffraction and IR spectra, as well as structurally characterized. Compound 1 consists of [{Cu(dien)(H2O)(μ-CO3)}2] discrete units whose CO32– anions play the role of bridging ligands combining two Cu(II) chelate cores into a centrosymmetric dimer. Darbā ir aprakstīts Android lietotnes “Diet Helper” izstrādes process, kas iekļauj programmatūras dokumentāciju, projektējumu, pirmkoda izstrādi un testēšanu. “Diet Helper” mērķis ir atvieglot pārtikas produktu izvēli veikalos cilvēkiem ar noteiktām diētiskām prasībām. Lietotājam nofotografējot vai ielādējot attēlu ar pārtikas produkta ingredientu sarakstu, lietotne to analizē, filtrējot ārā nevēlamos ingredientus un palīdzot pieņemt lēmumu vai noteiktais pārtikas produkts būtu piemērots uzturam. Programmatūras izstrāde tika izmantots React Native ietvars un Google Firebase platforma.

Resuming erupting activity at volcanoes that have been long quiescent poses a significant challenge to hazard assessment, as it require assessment of whether the change in activity is an isolated event or the beginning of a new eruptive sequence. Such inception is often poorly characterised as quiescent volcanoes tend to be poorly equipped and not extensively monitored, especially with respect to gas geochemistry. Here, we report gas composition and flux measurements from a newly opened vent at the very onset of eruptive activity at the Nevados de Chillán volcanic complex (Chile) in January-February 2016. Recovery of rescuers from a 24-hour shift and its association with physical fitness

The work of rescuers can be physically and psychologically very demanding so it is important for them to have sufficient recovery between work shifts. The purpose of this thesis was to study recovery of rescuers and to see if physical fitness is associated with recovery from work shifts. Heart rate variability (HRV) recordings reflect changes in the autonomic nervous system, and they were used for the analysis of stress and recovery. HRV was recorded for 96 hours, from the beginning of a 24-hour work shift to the beginning of the next shift. Background Fetal-to-neonatal transition is associated with oxidative stress. In preterm infants, immaturity of the antioxidant system favours supplemental oxygen-derived morbidity and mortality. Objectives To assess if prolonging in utero-like oxygenation during the fetal-to-neonatal transition limits oxidative stress in the lung and brain, improving postnatal adaptation of mice pups. Darbā ir aprakstīts Flutter lietotnes “FastMarket” izstrādes process, kas sastāvēja no programmatūras dokumentācijas izstrādēs, projektējuma, kā arī pirmkoda izstrādes un testēšanas dokumentācijas izveidošanas un izpildes. “FastMarket” lietotne ļauj lietotājiem izveidot un publicēt savus sludinājumus kā arī atrast citu lietotāju publicētus sludinājumus un filtrēt tos pēc kategorijas. Viena no atšķirošam īpašībām ir čats, kas ļauj sazināties ar konkrēta sludinājuma īpašnieku tieši lietotnē, bez kādas ārējas lietotnes palīdzības. Lietotne tika izstrādāta ar Flutter ietvari, kas ļauj kompilēt to gan uz iOS, gan uz Android platformām, kā datubāze tika izmantots Firebase serviss.
