Abstract To achieve a 3D shape with certain degree of complexity from metal sheets that are flat in the beginning, especially for prototype development or small series production, that is also cost efficient by avoiding high-end dies or expensive tooling, the incremental sheet forming process can represent the ideal choice due to its flexibility, reduced forming forces and increased formability. Molecular spintronics promises to combine the flexibility offered by synthetic chemistry with the advantages of an electronics which is based on the electron spin rather than its charge degree of freedom. Here, we review recent work on the description of transport across molecular spin systems and on a proposal for an all-electrical scheme for the implementation of a fundamental two-qubit gate in a certain class of molecular systems.

Organic spintronics field is an emerging field at the frontier between organic chemistry and spintronics. Exploiting the peculiarity of these two fields, it combines the flexibility, versatility and low production cost of organic materials with the nonvolatility, spin degree of freedom and beyond CMOS capabilities offered by spintronics. Before starting the discussion on the organic spintronics field, in this chapter will be provided a brief introduction on organic and molecular electronics and the specificities of molecules. Balancing Flexibility and Coherence: Information Exchange in a Paper Machinery Project

The problem of balancing coherence and flexibility in collaborative information system design is approached here with two pairs of concepts. Boundary objects can support communication for perspective taking between communities of practice. Conscripting devices can support communication for perspective making within a community of practice. These theoretical lenses are used to study the uses of the technical specification in paper machine projects. Abstract The objective of this paper is to study a structural vibration control strategy for seismic protection of multi-structure systems that combines interstructure passive damping elements with local feedback control systems implemented in the substructures. These local feedback control systems are independently designed and operated, and use semiactive devices with limited actuation capacity as force actuators.
