Bakalaura darbs „Studentu folklora Latvijas Universitātes Humanitāro zinātņu fakultātē” veikts sociālo grupu pētniecības laukā. Le fonctionnement des rivières du bassin de l’Èbre a subi d’importants changements depuis 1950. Il s’agit d’un processus rapide et très marqué, de simplification et de stabilisation sur le fleuve principal et sur ses principaux affluents pyrénéens. Ce processus s’est manifesté par des changements dans la morphologie fluviale, le développement de la végétation sur les lits, un rétrécissement de l’espace naturel fluvial et une incision des lits fluviaux. Les facteurs de ce processus sont le changement global dans le bassin, la construction de réservoirs d’eau et d’autres nombreuses pressions humaines directes, notamment d’extractions de graviers et de canalisations. Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Aizsarglietu stāstījumu folklora Latgalē (pēc 2018. un 2019. gada lauka pētījumu materiāliem)”. Bakalaura darba mērķis bija noskaidrot, kas ir raksturīgs aizsarglietu stāstījumu folklorai Latgalē, kāda ir tās specifika, vai un kā ir transformējušās ar aizsarglietām saistītās latviešu tautas tradīcijas, salīdzinot ar latviešu folkloras materiālu. Darbs sastāv no ievada, trim nodaļām un, secinājumiem. Pirmajā nodaļā tika analizēti aizsarglietu stāstījumi, kas vēsta par mājas aizsardzību (māju, īpašumu aizsargājošiem augiem, ornamentālajām zīmēm, baznīcā svētītajām aizsarglietām), un tika noskaidroti aizsarglietu izmantošanas dažādie nolūki. Developing inclusive education policy and practice in Zanzibar : collaborative action research

This doctoral dissertation, which consists of three interrelated sub-studies and an overarching summary, explores the inclusive education development process in Zanzibar, Tanzania. The purpose of the research is to contribute to the development of inclusive policies and practices in order to increase the presence, participation and achievement of all learners. The overarching research question investigated in this research was as follows: How is inclusive education developed in Zanzibar, and how can it be better integrated into the education system? Crystalline wax coverage of the imaginal cuticule in Calopteryx splendens (Odonata: Calopterygidae)

In this study we use high resolution SEM to describe the diversity of wax crystals and their distribution on different morphological structures in male individuals of Calopteryx splendens. The entire cuticle surface of this damselfly, with the exception of ommatidia and ocelli, is covered with crystalline wax in dimensions from submicron to micron range. It is shown that shape – rod-like, plate like, filamentous, etc. –, size, and density of crystals vary on different surfaces and in individuals of different ages. The common sterilization techniques are based on physical processes that involve, for example, the use of autoclaves or systems to radiation such as γ-rays that can cause a structural change of the polymer treated. Therefore, the use of supercritical carbon dioxide (scCO2) is an excellent alternative, as it does not induce any variation of biomaterials treated (Perrut M., 2012). Exploiting Google EarthTM to assess a landslide susceptibility model: a test in central Sicily. A landslide susceptibility multivariate model, based on the conditional analysis approach, has been derived in the Tumarrano river basin (about 78 km2), by intersecting a GIS grid layer, expressing some selected geo-environmental conditions (outcropping lithology, steepness, plan curvature and topographic wetness index), and a landslide vector archive, produced by a Google EarthTM aided remote survey.
