Album artwork research tends to focus on aspects related to usability and graphics, włiile freąuently ignoring other elements of cover art - the paraphernalia of pho- nograms represented by functionally diversified texts. Their importance has been recognised with the Grammy Award for Best Album Notes, awarded for excellent liner (sleeve) notes in phonographic publications. This article focuses on the diverse character of the onymic elements in the sleeve notes on Fragile, the fourth studio album by Yes.
