PurposeTo make easier and faster the designing of transformers using scale models.Design/methodology/approachThe scale modeling in designing of transformers is included. Both computer and physical models of high leakage reactance (HLR) and 3‐phase (TP3C) transformers have been considered. The 3D field computations have been executed for the scaled models, and the results were recalculated to the full‐scaled ones.FindingsIt is possible to calculate the scale coefficients for nonlinear models of transformers using finite element method (FEM) software. This paper presents some results of the research on ‘Adult education resources to reduce youth unemployment’, which is a part of the project ‘Implementation of the European agenda for adult learning’. The research applies a mixed-method approach (quantitative and qualitative data analysis). The purpose of the paper is to identify the most/least-efficient non-formal and informal learning methods, forms, and initiatives to promote youth entrepreneurship and employability in Latvia as well as to show the relationship between the profile of young adults and their opinion on these methods, forms, and initiatives. The role of informal learning in adults' literacy proficiency

This study used the Programme for International Assessment of Adult Competencies (PIAAC) dataset to examine informal literacy learning’s effects on adults’ literacy proficiency. Also, the factors associated with informal literacy learning at and outside of work were studied. The study participants were Nordic adults aged 35–65 years. The statistical method was regression analysis, and the results indicate that informal literacy activities at work are associated primarily with occupation, and informal literacy activities outside of work with education, parents’ education and gender. Il saggio analizza la fattispecie del giustificato motivo oggettivo di licenziamento e i connessi rimedi (art. 18 post riforma '"Fornero" e d.lgs. 23/2015), ed evidenzia la lettura 'liberista' operata dalla giurisprudenza. The essay analyses individual dismissals for economic grounds and related remedies (art. 18 Workers' Statute after "Fornerno" reform and legislative decree no. 23/2015), and it highlights the neoliberal reading made by labour courts.
Mediterranean Diplodus annularis (Teleostei: Sparidae) and its brain parasite: Unforeseen outcome

Patterns of parasite load and aggregation of the bird trematode Cardiocephaloides longicollis in its main intermediate host in the Mediterranean, the annular sea bream, Diplodus annularis, were studied in a large sample collected off Valencia (Spain) and are discussed within the context of the parasite induced host mortality hypothesis. The metacercariae were located within large composite cysts of host origin in the ventricles of the optic lobes of the cerebrum. A weak immunological response was detected in older fish, which was significantly associated with the total parasite load. This article defines, from a theoretical perspective, the scientific arbitration report as discursive genre, located in a chain of genres with two recipients, the purpose being to contextualize why a mitigating courtesy strategy is activated.
