This study explores the writings of Sylvia Plath Forum, a discussion forum in the Internet that was launched in 1998. Using Norman Fairclough’s critical discourse analysis, Chaïm Perelman’s theory of argumentation, Kenneth Burke’s idea of identification as the basis of rhetoric, and René Girards’s theory of mimetic desire as its framework this study looks into the forum’s meaning-making processes and the ways the author Sylvia Plath (1932-1963) and her readers are represented on the forum. Developing and Comparing Indices to Evaluate Community Knowledge Building in an Educational Research Course

This paper implements a novel approach to analyzing the degree of Collective Cognitive Responsibility (CCR) in a Knowledge Building community, based on socioeconomic and scientometric measures. After engaging in Knowledge Forum (KF) discussions for one semester, 36 students identified impactful ideas in their portfolios, which were then used to develop their impact scores. These scores were then transformed and plotted along the Lorenz Curve and the Gini coefficient to visualize the degree of equidistribution of recognition in the community and, by extension, the degree of collective responsibility shared by members of the community. Maģistra darba tēma ir „Lojalitātes nozīme uzņēmuma zīmola vērtības attīstībā‟ un darba mērķis ir analizēt lojalitātes veicināšanas nozīmību un tās saistību ar zīmola vērtības celšanu. Maģistra darbs sastāv no teorētiskās daļas, kur tiek apskatīta literatūra pa zīmolu, tā būtību, vērtību un lojalitāti – tās veidiem, veicināšanas faktoriem, paņēmieniem un lojalitātes programmām. Darba metodoloģiskā daļa sastāv no teorijas par divām pētniecības metodēm – kvalitatīvo pētniecības metodi interviju un kvantitatīvo pētniecības metodi anketēšanu – tiek pamatota metožu izvēle. In November 2018, ITAB (Institute of Agriculture and Organic Food) and INRA (National Institute for Agronomic Research) organized a transdisciplinary seminar to bring together stakeholders to: i) share issues associated with soil management in Organic Farming (OF) systems, ii) collectively define the main research questions to be addressed; and iii) facilitate the construction of networks or projects.
