An Outline of Morpho-Constructional Analysis

A concept of morpho-constructional analysis is outlined which describes functions of organic features in terms of transformation of energy input into effect output on the strength of physical principles. The dependence of effect outputs on constructional parameters, such as geometrical configurations and material properties, is illustrated in a vector model. It shows that performances of organisms, on principle, can be provided in equivalent manner by different constructional solutions. Background: Vertical transmission of HIV infection may occur during pregnancy, at childbirth or through breastfeeding. Recommendations on the safety of breastfeeding of HIV-infected women on effective antiretroviral treatment are not univocal among international guidelines (WHO 2010, EACS 2017, DHHS 2017), leaving space for variability at the patient’s level. The Patres ecclesiae?s works were a frequent topic of discussion at the time in which many humanists stood against the decadent medieval scholastics. That Juan Luis Vives was part of this tradition is demonstrated in his commentaries on Saint Augustine works. Despite its pedagogical function, the scholia of the Valencian author became quite subjective. In this sense, his ecdotic work or, specially, his «criticisms and censures» can be mentioned. Here, Vives strongly disapproves of the intense political and intellectual turmoil of his epoch. The main purpose of this thesis is to provide a new way to correctly perform stochastic analysis of structures with viscoelastic constitutive law. The reason for this kind of problem relates the fact that structures with viscoelastic materials are built in many areas of mechanical, civil and aerospace engineering.
