International audience; D'abord repérée d'avion, puis fouillée sur l'emprise d'une gravière, la nécropole néolithique de Passy couvre plus de 20 hectares. Elle se compose d'une trentaine de grands monuments allongés, orientés à l'Est, et construits de terre et de bois. Les défunts, déposés sur le dos dans de probable coffres, reposaient dans des fosses profondes creusées dans l'axe des monuments. Les dépôts funéraires, qui comprennent des objets anthropomorphes, permettent d'attribuer ces sépultures au groupe de Cerny. Objective: Radical prostatectomy (RP) is a frequent treatment for men suffering from localized prostate cancer (PCa). Whilst offering a high chance for cure, it does not come without a significant impact on health-related quality of life. Herein we review the common adverse effects RP may have over the course of time.Methods: A collaborative narrative review was performed with the identification of the principal studies on the topic. The search was executed by a relevant term search on PubMed from 2010 to February 2021.Results: Rates of major complications in patients undergoing RP are generally low. Monte Carlo simulation of many-arm star polymers in two-dimensional good solvents in the bulk and at a surface

A Monte Carlo technique is proposed for the simulation of statistical properties of many-arm star polymers on lattices. In this vectorizing algorithm, the length of each arml is increased by one, step by step, from a starting configuration withl=1 orl=2 which is generated directly. This procedure is carried out for a large sample (e.g., 100,000 configurations). As an application, we have studied self-avoiding stars on the square lattice with arm lengths up tol max=125 and up tof=20 arms, both in the bulk and in the geometry where the center of the star is adsorbed on a repulsive surface. We consider rotationally symmetric p-harmonic maps from the unit disk D2⊂R2 to the unit sphere S2⊂R3, subject to Dirichlet boundary conditions and with 1<p<∞. We show that the associated energy functional admits a unique minimizer which is of class C∞ in the interior and C1 up to the boundary. We also show that there exist infinitely many global solutions to the associated Euler–Lagrange equation and we completely characterize them.
