Lai gan metaforas pētījumi ir piesaistījuši daudzu zinātnieku uzmanību, metaforu lietojums modes emuāros nav daudz pētīts. Emuārs kā žanrs parādījās 2000.gadu sākumā un kopš tā laika ir izveidojušies dažādi emuāra veidi. Empīriskie dati ir ekscerpēti no modes emuāra The Blonde Salad. Pētījums ir izstrādāts, lai atbildētu uz pētījuma jautājumu - kāda metaforu funkcija dominē emuārā The Blonde Salad. Pētījuma mērķis ir noteikt avota domēnus, kas metaforiski raksturo modi izvēlētajā modes emuārā. Teorētiskā pētījuma daļa ir balstīta uz teorijām par metaforām, to funkcijām un iedalījumu tādu zinātnieku kā Lakofs, Džonsons, Gibs, Knovles, Mūns un Kovecses skatījumā. International audience; Speech is a complex auditory stimulus which is processed according to several time-scales. Whereas consonant discrimination is required to resolve rapid acoustic events, voice perception relies on slower cues. Humans, right from preterm ages, are particularly efficient to encode temporal cues. To compare the capacities of preterms to those observed in other mammals, we tested anesthetized adult rats by using exactly the same paradigm as that used in preterm neonates. Dette er den første delrapporten i prosjektet "Evaluering av forsøk i Hå kommune". Høgskolen i Agder har i 2 år fulgt arbeidet med forsøk i Hå. Etter at forsøket er avsluttet sommeren 2002, skal analyser av innsamlede data gjøres ferdig, og det skal skrives sluttrapport om evalueringsarbeidet. Denne rapporten gjør rede for den første breddestudien i evalueringa. I rapporten gjøres det rede for hvilke avvik Hå kommune har søkt fra L 97, opplæringslov og arbeidstidsavtale.
