Beliefs affecting additional investment intentions of mutual fund clients

In this article, we aim to examine mutual fund investors’ behaviour in decision-making situations and to analyse future investment decisions via a path model approach. Investors were divided into different groups based on the risk and distribution channel used, and the differences in their investment intentions were examined. The study used empirical survey data collected from the clients of a mutual fund company owned by a Finnish banking group. Loyalty to the common banking group dominated the explanation in the whole model. Fundamental movement skill proficiency and body composition measured by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry in eight-year-old children

Objective: The main aim was to examine the association between fundamental movement skills (FMS) and objectively measured body composition using dual energy X-ray absorptiometry (DXA). Methods: Study of 304 eight-year-old children in Finland. FMS were assessed with the Test of Gross Motor Development, 2nd ed. (TGMD-2). Total body fat percentage (BF%), abdominal region fat percentage (AF%), and fat-free mass (FFM) were assessed by DXA. Waist circumference, height and weight were measured and International Obesity Task Force (IOTF) cut-off values for BMI were used for the definition of healthy weight and overweight/obesity. El presente trabajo, que se dividió en tres partes, pretendió caracterizar dos aspectos importantes en la fisiopatología tras un infarto agudo de miocardio (IAM) como son la obstrucción microvascular (OMV) y la formación de la cicatriz fibrótica. La principal estrategia tras un IAM es la reperfusión temprana de la arteria infartada. Sin embargo, mediante técnicas de imagen realizadas en pacientes con IAM, se ha comprobado que este procedimiento no asegura una correcta reperfusión a nivel microvascular dando lugar al fenómeno conocido como OMV.
