Il tema delle emotrasfusioni tocca questioni tra le più spinose e di maggiore attualità del diritto contemporaneo, accomunate dalle necessità, per un verso, di promuovere e di incoraggiare la donazione del sangue che, nel contesto unitario europeo, è volontaria e gratuita e, per altro verso, di tutelare il singolo dal contagio di malattie ricollegabile alla somministrazione di sangue infetto. Kritiskā fūzijas frekvence un tīklenes apgaismojums

Maģistra darbs ir uzrakstīts latviešu valodā uz 40 lapaspusēm. Tas satur 27 attēlus, 4 tabulas un ietver atsauces uz 38 literatūras avotiem. Mērķis: noskaidrot tīklenes apgaismojuma izmaiņas ietekmi uz kritiskās flikera frekvences slieksni. Metode: tiek noteikts dalībnieku kritiskās fūzijas frekvences slieksnis ar frekvences samazināšanas metodi. Tīklenes apgaismojuma maiņai tiek izmantoti oklūderi ar trīs dažāda izmēra atvērumiem. Rezultāti: palielinoties oklūdera diametram, tiek iegūts slieksnis pie augstākām frekvencēm.

Objective: To evaluate the efficacy of switching to etanercept treatment in patients with rheumatoid arthritis who already responded to infliximab, but presented side effects. Methods: Charts of 553 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were retrospectively reviewed to select patients who responded to the treatment with infliximab and switched to etanercept because of occurrence of adverse effects. Clinical data were gathered during 24 weeks of etanercept treatment and for the same period of infliximab treatment before infliximab was stopped. Nitrate is a natural constituent of the human diet and an approved food additive. It can be partially converted to nitrogen monoxide, which induces vasodilation and thereby decreases blood pressure. This effect is associated with a reduced risk regarding cardiovascular disease, myocardial infarction, and stroke. Moreover, dietary nitrate has been associated with beneficial effects in patients with gastric ulcer, renal failure, or metabolic syndrome. Recent studies indicate that such beneficial health effects due to dietary nitrate may be achievable at intake levels resulting from the daily consumption of nitrate-rich vegetables. Mimo że pojęcie to do literatury naukowej weszło już w latach 70., jest to obszar zaniedbany naukowo, którego zarówno przyczyny, jak i mechanizmy powstania nie zostały gruntownie przebadane. W Polsce parentyfikacja opisywana jest marginalnie, nieznana jest ani skala zjawiska, ani jej uwarunkowania oraz konsekwencje. In this review we will present the results of recent beta-decay studies using the total absorption technique that cover topics of interest for applications, nuclear structure and astrophysics. The decays studied were selected primarily because they have a large impact on the prediction of a) the decay heat in reactors, important for the safety of present and future reactors and b) the reactor electron antineutrino spectrum, of interest for particle/nuclear physics and reactor monitoring. Dwarf fan palm (Chamaerops humilis) plays an important ecological role in the thermo Mediterranean vegetation stage, both in woodlands, xerophitic shrub communities and degraded ecosystems. Dwarf fan palm is typically propagated from seeds. Whereas other palm species show reduced germination after few months of seed storage, no information is available on the effects of storage time on seed germinability . We examined the germination pattern of dwarf palm seeds aged after a storage of four, six or eight months in comparison to fresh seed (control).
