Structural Dynamics of Interfirm Knowledge Networks

In this chapter, we investigate the drivers of interfirm network structural dynamics and their influence on knowledge creation and diffusion processes that occur in such networks over time. Interfirm knowledge networks are complex webs of linkages connecting a variety of idiosyncratic firms within and across industries. Aimed to contribute to answer the recent calls for a more dynamic and multilevel view to understand network structures and processes, we leverage the complex network research to formulate a multilevel theoretical framework that clarifies the structural dynamics and knowledge creation and diffusion potential of interfirm networks.

This article aims to show the interest of statistics available on the Internet concerning consultations of abstracts, downloads and citations of articles to assess the attractiveness and influence of a scientific review. This interest is illustrated by the case of the review Finance Contrôle Stratégie on the basis of the statistics provided by Repec and Publish or Perish. Beyond the findings that confirm the good performance of FCS and the usefulness of these statistics for the management of a scientific review, the article also provides insights into the life cycle of an article and the choice of the language of publication.

L’articolo analizza i reali comportamenti di acquisto dell’acquirente all’interno del punto vendita e individua i pattern latenti più significativi attraverso un’analisi di affinità di 128.364 scontrini estratti da un dataset di 715.662 transazioni effettuate in un anno. Lo studio individua le strutture associative più ricorrenti relativamente alla singola merceologia. A novel approach for resource recovery includes forward osmosis (FO) as a concentration step in municipal wastewater treatment. The current study investigates different pre-treatment strategies including biological treatment with a moving-bed bioreactor (MBBR) at different loading rates and particle removal by filtration and sedimentation. Membrane performance and recovery potential for energy and nutrients were investigated in laboratory-scale FO experiments in batch mode using pre-treated municipal wastewater as feed and 35 g/L NaCl as a draw solution.
