The purpose of this study was to i) examine reliability and construct validity of the pictorial scale of Perceived Movement Skill Competence (PMSC) aligned to the third version of the Test of Gross Motor Development (TGMD-3) in a sample of Spanish children; and to ii) analyse the validity of the PMSC and children’s perceived motor competence (MC) according to gender. Abstract: In Tanzania, the national examinations are used as the primary tools for selection and transition from lower to upper secondary education. Female students are more likely to fail in the national exams and to drop out from education. This article examines the perspectives of female students concerning their advancement in secondary education. International audience; The article examines how Death Proof (Tarantino, 2007) subverts both gender and genre by mixing several genres (the slasher, the car movie, the buddy movie) generally considered to be male, either at the diegetic level (e.g. the main characters) or at the level of reception (i.e. the target audience). The film's play on gender and genre, which is clearly based on the idea that film genres are gendered, is, then, enabled by the very discursivity of these norms. Tässä liikuntaläksykokeilussa tutkittiin, miten erilaiset liikunnalliset kotitehtävät, liikuntaläksyt, toteutuivat koululiikunnan osana ja miten oppilaat kokivat liikuntaläksyt sekä oman osallisuutensa niiden tekemisessä. Liikuntaläksykokeilu toteutettiin lukuvuonna 2015–2016 keskisuomalaisessa koulussa 6.–9.-luokan tyttöjen kanssa, yhteensä 117 tyttöä. Liikuntaläksykokeilun päätteeksi tehdyn oppilaskyselyn vastaukset analysoitiin frekvenssien, ristiintaulukoiden (khiin neliötesti) ja keskiarvovertailujen avulla (varianssianalyysi ja t-testi). Tutkimuksen aiheena on kansainvälisen ’Girl Effect’-kampanjan verkkoviestintä ja sivuston käyttäjälle rakennettu toimijuus. Nykyisin yksilön vastuuta painotetaan kehitysyhteistyössä kampanjoiden tukijoina, muutokseen velvoittajina, lahjoittajina sekä vapaaehtoistyöntekijöinä. Etenkin verkkokampanjointi perustuu yksilön toimijuuden korostamiseen; sivuston käyttäjä pyritään vakuuttamaan omasta tarpeellisuudestaan ja toimintojensa merkityksestä.
