Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Sociālā tīkla Facebook lietotāju lietotprasmes un paradumi saistībā ar sponsorētu saturu”. Nekontrolējot sponsorēto saturu, pastāv risks nonākt sev nevēlamā digitālā “filtru burbulī”. Tāpēc darbā tika pētīts, kādi ir jauniešu sociālā tīkla lietošanas paradumi, saņemot sponsorēto saturu, un vai viņi prot kontrolēt un kritiski vērtēt to, kādu sponsorētu saturu viņi saņem. A university has many stakeholders with varying interests and commitments. Several studies have examined modes and methods of HEIs communication with stakeholders. To the best of our knowledge, it is not evident in the literature how the engagement between universities and their stakeholders proceeds on the social media platforms particularly from a developing country perspective. Abstract Recent research in Norway reveals significant differences between how students and educators in higher education report using social media in the context of university activities. Students seem to use such media at their own initiative and largely outside the academic agenda. El presente estudio tiene como finalidad explorar la trayectoria evolutiva de la comprensión de cuatro emociones en niños de tres a cinco años. Sabemos que los niños identifican las expresiones faciales y después entienden la causa de las emociones, pero ¿las emociones se comprenden a la vez, en el mismo momento evolutivo? Para llevar a cabo este estudio se evaluó de forma longitudinal a un grupo de 103 niños y niñas entre los 3 y los 5 años. A Fair Share of Work: Is Fairness of Task Distribution a Mediator Between Transformational Leadership and Follower Emotional Exhaustion?

Drawing on social resource theory and the norm of equity, this research proposes fairness of task distribution as a mediating mechanism of the well-established relationship between transformational leadership and followers’ well-being, conceptualizing the latter as low emotional exhaustion. Using data from 479 German employees in a three-wave longitudinal study, we found transformational leadership to be related to fair task distribution over time. The perceived fairness of task distribution mediated the relationship between transformational leadership and follower emotional exhaustion (structural equation modeling) when excluding stabilities. Abstract Convergence analysis is typically envisaged either from a macro or a micro perspective. However, empirical tests tend to ignore that the two levels are often “nested” in a hierarchy. Building on hierarchical growth curve modelling, we propose an approach to convergence analysis that allows contemporaneous inference on macro and micro-convergence. Compared to the classic linear convergence analysis, the suggested methodology provides a more flexible alternative to model heterogeneity and validate the results for possible Galton's fallacy. We introduce CitySearcher, a vertical search engine that searches for cities when queried for an interest. Generally in search engines, utilization of semantics between words is favorable for performance improvement. Even though ambiguous query words have multiple semantic meanings, search engines can return diversified results to satisfy different users' information needs. But for CitySearcher, mismatched semantic relationships can lead to extremely unsatisfactory results. Cranial deformations in an Iron Age population from Münsingen-Rain, Switzerland

The aim of this paper is an examination of cranial fluctuating asymmetry (FA) and deformations in the prehistoric population of Munsingen-Rain (La Tene period, Switzerland). The material consists of 76 skulls. Three cases of craniosynostosis, one scaphocephalic skull with complete obliteration of the sagittal suture and two plagiocephalic skulls were identified. CT scans showed that premature closure of the frontosphenoidal suture caused these plagiocephalies. For three asymmetrically deformed skulls, differential diagnosis indicates torticollis (wry neck). Another four skulls exhibit strongly developed asymmetries of the cranium and mandible, but an aetiological diagnosis was not possible.…
