In recent years, mathematical models of decision making, such as the diffusion model, have been endorsed in individual differences research. These models can disentangle different components of the decision process, like processing speed, speed–accuracy trade-offs, and duration of non-decisional processes. Artikkelissa tarkastellaan sitä, millaisia merkityksiä haavoittuvuudelle on annettu datavetoista yhteiskuntaa ja digitaalista subjektia koskevassa tutkimuskirjallisuudessa. Artikkeli perustuu kirjallisuuskatsaukseen, joka on tehty vuosina 2015–2020 ilmestyneistä haavoittuvuutta datafikaation kontekstissa käsittelevistä tieteellisistä julkaisuista. Kirjallisuushaut tehtiin yhteiskuntatieteiden alojen keskeisistä tietokannoista ja digitaalisista kirjastoista. Forward $J/\psi$ and very backward jet inclusive production at the LHC

In the spirit of Mueller-Navelet dijet production, we propose and study the inclusive production of a forward $J/\psi$ and a very backward jet at the LHC as an observable to reveal high-energy resummation effects \`a la BFKL. We obtain several predictions, which are based on the various mechanisms discussed in the literature to describe the production of the $J/\psi$, namely, NRQCD singlet and octet contributions, and the color evaporation model.

Maģistra darba „Tiešraides straumēšanas kvalitātes uzlabošanas metodes” pētīšanas procesā autors izpēta un analizē tiešraides straumēšanas tehnoloģijas, tās kvalitātes kritērijus. Tiek izpētītas un salīdzinātas pašlaik populārākie datoru un mobilu platformu straumēšanas risinājumi, to aspekti un izplatība mūsdienās. Papildus tika izpētītas digitālas televīzijas iespējas un kvalitātes kritēriji, kā arī, balstoties uz autora darba pieredzi multimediju sfērā - digitāla kanāla palaišanas iespējas. Apkopojot maģistra darba iegūtos rezultātus, autors izstrādā un piedāvā universālu straumēšanas risinājumu, kura pamatā ir dažādu mobilo iekārtu izmantošana.

The in vivo dissolution of enteric-coated (EC) products is often overestimated by compendial in vitro dissolution experiments. It is of great interest to mimic the in vivo conditions as closely as possible in vitro in order to predict the in vivo behavior of EC dosage forms. The reason behind this is the overly high buffering capacity of the common compendial buffers compared to the intestinal bicarbonate buffer. However, a bicarbonate-based buffer is technically difficult to handle due to the need for continuous sparging of the media with CO2 to maintain the desired buffer pH.
